I'm looking for a new game. I'm currently playing games I own, but I want Fallout 3. But do I wait for a game of the year version to come out with the new add ons or get it now and download the add ons? I'm sure they are going to come out with a game of the year. So I'm asking those out there what I should do. Get it now or wait?

So for over a month I have been out of work. Looking passionately but not getting anything. I have gotten a few interview request and things were looking up, then the email. "The position has been closed at this time" So then I'm back at the beginning sending resume after resume. So that's how things are going in that area.

As for games, I have not been spending money and getting a new game as soon as it comes out for I have plenty of games to play right now. But there are a couple of games I was looking of getting, however I'm not sure if I should go the used route or new and wait till it comes down in price. But most games, the really popular ones, tend to stay in the 60 dollar range for a while.

I generally keep the game I get and do not trade it out once I have played it and beaten the game etc. So I am curious what other folks do. Do they get just new games? Wait till the price drops? Buy used or both? Does it depend on the game whither you get it used or new?

Then I was wondering if the game is used, can you be picky and not get it if the game is worn or scratched, missing the manual etc. I know that you can purchase protection for a used game, but to me that is a waste of money.

Tell me your thoughts should I go the route of a used game?

Well the one thing that has not ever happened to me happened last week. I'm currently on leave bonding with my new baby boy and I received a text message from a friend at work. The company is letting people go. So I talked to him and he said that he didn't see my name on the list, but I had a feeling, and just before I went on leave I took all of my stuff home from work.

Well the call came shortly after, my supervisor was on the phone and he sounded upset. After seven years, gone. So I have a nice severance package and stuff, but right now with thousands upon thousands looking for jobs as well its gonna be tough. So every night I have been looking and applying. So fingers crossed I hope something happens soon.
