whoa, check out the teeth!

i wouldn't to get bitten by this kitty! tigers don't really want to attack people though. they'd rather avoid us. if they did attack, it's be to protect themselves, their young, or they were really hungry. A tiger only catches it's prey about 20% of the time. it's stripes are like our fingerprints. thigers are the only striped wild cat,and their sripes aren't just on teir fur, they're also on the tiger's fur. White tigers aren't a differnt species, they are a kind of mutated tiger, sort of like an albino. kind of. there used to be 5 kinds of tigers, now there are 3.
i guess that's all the tiger tidbits for now. (i'm the animal trivia girl. ask me about any random animal, and i can give you info on it)

oh... yah... 3 extinct species of tiger... yah, i totally knew that.... i was just... testing you... hey what's that!? *runs away*
but anyway, yah, that's funny with us. yah, ok, komodo dragons. Uh, they're a really big (i meen big, they can reach up to 10 ft.) lizard with sharp teeth, and a tail that can give a mean whip. and if they bite you, they are NOT going to let go anytime soon (as i have seen on animal planet). where it lives... oh geez, i think it's around indonesia. despite their big size they can run fast, a little over 10 mph, say 12. they are carnivores, and oviously the're cold-blooded!
(...maybe i watch too much animal planet...)

Wow, those teeth!
I really think meerkats (spelling?) are cute and interesting. What can you tell me about them?

Yep, Indonesia is correct, or more specifically, the island of Komodo. (They're also the largest lizard in the world.)
Yeah, what do you know about meerkats? I can recall a few facts about them, but they're definately not my specialty.

hee hee...
meerkats. they live in africa and live in groups. they're small, i'm guessing about the size or bigger than a possum. they like to groom eachother. they live in rocky burrows. i don't know too too much, i know a little bit more about them. Oh! and it'd illegal in the US to own a meerkat

*keep da trivia comin'

That's pretty much all I know about them, except that they're a type of mongoose.
Okay, let me give you a tough one *grins menacingly*... How about siamangs? I have these at my zoo.

I'm kind of traumatized with tigers. When I was young, I saw this Chow Yun Fat (Chinese actor) movie where three men went to the zoo to obtain some of the tiger's doo-doo. They needed it for traveling to Hong Kong as illegal aliens. The tiger doo-doo was used to scare away the policemen's dogs who tried to spoil their plans. One of the guys ended up eating it by accident. His breath stunk really bad, and one of the dogs fainted from the awful stench.
Anyway, that's a nice, but fierceful tiger you posted.

All I want to know is how does someone eat tiger poo by accident? Lol. Anyway, siamangs are a type of gibbon, or lesser ape. I'd tell you more, but I should probably wait for Wolf!

wrong move purplepaws! i saw a whole show on lemurs and primates, and siamangs was on it! ;D. it's a large black gibbon, with this little inflatable throat sac thing. they sing less than other gibbons but their call can be heard from 4 km. it lives from sumatra to the malaysian pennisula i think. they live in groups, and the young leave after they are 5-6 years old.
ha ha ha!! bring it on! *gloats* noone can stump me!! (well, techancally, yes they could, but...)
a siamang:

just so you know, i get the pictures off google images, but i don't look up animal info. if i really didn't know about an animal, i'd just admit it.

Aha, but have you actually heard them? It's a rare treat, let me tell you! They happened to be sounding off right as I was walking past their section of the zoo. It's so great to catch little surprises like that.
No, really though, I'm impressed. Time to bring out the big guns, now... let's try... the macaroni penguin.

oh geez... you may have got me there... there are so many diferent kinds of penguins.... um... i'm not sure if this is the right penguin, but i think they have yellow feathers in kind of a crest on their head. they don't live in the artic but more north, i think on islands of south america. they make nests out of holes in gravel, and fast before mating. again, i'm not sure if this is the RIGHT type of penguin you meant, but i hope it is!

You're probably right about most of that- I'm not really sure. Though, I know they don't live in warm climates- they're sub-antarctic. Did you know that there are 17 penguin subspecies? How many can you name?
