So long ago did we follow Alice down the rabbit hole into the crazy and wild world of Wonderland. Now, it's more than 50 years later and Alice is back. This time, it's 10 years after the events of her first journey into Wonderland. She's 19 and travels back with no recollection of her memories in the world. It's time to face an even darker version of Wonderland with more mind-boddling surprises and some familiar faces including the Queen of Hearts, the White Rabbit, the Mad-Hatter and more. Should this be considered a kids tale for a second journey?

A common thing that directors seem to face when recreating an old flick is still bringing back that nostalgia but with new feeling. Tim Burton, however, doesn't seem to care about nostalgia - which is definitely a good thing. If we don't know who Tim Burton is, you may recognize some of his work including Edward Scissor-Hands, Sleepy Hollow or Sweeny Todd. Of course, there's plenty more where that came from; basically saying the guy's a genius. Now, he's taking us into Wonderland. Knowing Burton, it's going to be wicked! Instead of back-tracking with Alice into her original ventures, he's pushed it 10 years later with a lot more side-shows that can be a bit more adult-oriented. These may include the mote surrounding the Queen of Hearts that has bobbing heads in it or her favorite lines of "Off with their heads!" It seem that though it's said by Burton, himself, to be OK for children, we're probably looking at a PG-13ish movie.

So, now the movies finished filming and onto CGI animations! We can expect most of it to pretty much be CGI. The movie looks very creep-status after taking looks at character pictures. All I can say is that I'm very stoked for this movie. Being a big fan of Alice in Wonderland (as are most people), Tim Burton may be able to capture the darker side of Wonderland which the more mature audiences have often tall-taled about. It was often thoughts we had watching the original cartoon when questions like "What were the producers thinking?" came up. Yeah, don't worry, the producers new that one day a director would come along and depict the true natures of Wonderland. Until then, for you stoners, hippies, drugies, ravers, party-people or non-straight-edge folk... Shroom on!

That is good news. Tim Burton has a wonderfully odd take on things. A re-imagined Alice in Wonderland is exciting.

I can't wait, I'm sure loads of kids will see it regardless, but then if you read the orginal book and not the kids version its actually pretty creepy to begin with.
