hardly a Gears killer man. The gameplay doesn't look as good, at least not right now. Also, the visuals don't appear as sharp or detailed overall. Quantum looks like it needs lots of work.

@ChiefFreeman Yeah a lot of people say it's the Gears of War killer. It's not completed yet, the lead developer guy says it's 50% completed. Hopefully, they can make the visuals better. As for the gameplay, it looks decent. I'm just hoping for split screen co-op for this game.

Nope, even though I'm a PS3 fanboy, I'd say it's a Gears of War rip-off. Epic (Unreal Tournament and many more shooters based on Unreal Engine, even Dead Space use Unreal Engine) is of course better than TECMO (have they ever made shooter before?) when it comes to shooter. TECMO should spend their time making Ninja Gaiden 3 and the better version Ninja Gaiden Sigma 3 instead of get our hope up. I wish Epic will make exclusive Gears of War-like games for us.

@Kleeyook Tecmo published the game, they didn't make it. Team Tachyon did. And all games are usually ripe off of something. As for Gears of War, the 3rd one isn't owned by Microsoft, so there's a chance it could come to the PS3, knowing Epic since they like the PS3.

I don think its a Gears Killer, 1. Graphic kinda Suks...
2. Monster kinda ugly and die in wired way ( popping into goo)
3. color quite dull and not HD enough ...
Gameplay wise only OK .. U2 is more better in shooting !!

I've played Gears of War and I don't think this game looks like much similarity, plus I think the gameplay in Gears of War was brilliant, Quantum Theory - not that good

gears was also a rip off of killswitch and it doesnt matter if quantum is gears rip off . Quantum ftw ........ gears = fail
