I became a member at Gamespot a few years ago as a newbie fumbling around the general boards. I liked to input my critique on games and rated almost every game I had every played as well as reviewing quite a few. At one time I was among the "Top 100 Reviewers" on the site, but after the badge was removed and then re-added I was in the 10,000 and got some enemies apparently. I still have a few members who track my reviews and many more who trust them. Later, I quickly found UCBs such as the Headcrab Union and Enty Entertainment Board. Other boards like the Everything Metroid Board and Off Topic board became favorites of mine. While being a hardcore gamer, I also became a part of the GS community. I am, though often uncredited and unknown, the creator of the Headcrab Union logo. The popular Half-Life union on Gamespot. My very first post on the board presented the logos that I created. I also introduced the humorous signature series on the board that acted as "safety warnings" with colorful characters that looked like Wet Floor signs and had the tag "a message from the Headcrab Union." A few others designed their own signatures in the same fashion. Later, after Gamespot changed the layout of their site I offered three title images for Smugglers Run 1 & 2, Age of Empires and Armed and Dangerous that can be viewed on those game pages. At this time of the site change-over I became a more active member in the great UCB, The Virtual Underground and a member of the Lost Union which I also created the banner for, originally intended for my own profile. So in my days at Gamespot, I've tried to offer assistance where I could and though I am not as widely known as some, I feel I have left a stronger mark than most members and will continue to be a member of this forum community for years to come.
