I recently bought some new games. The games I have bought is:

Fallout 3

Dead Space

Gears of War 2

and Call of Duty: World at war.

Fallout 3 is a great RPG, some would say it's similar to Oblivion, but that doesn't make it any less great. You play as a man or woman, who sets out to search for your missing father, and you are eventually tasked with finding a machine that once again will make Earth lush and green.

Dead Space have you play as engineer Isaac Clarke who is sent on a routine repair assignment to the mining ship USG Ishimura. However the routine assignment turns out become a deadly fight for survival against an alien lifeform called Necromorphs. You are not a badass space marine, but just a regular engineer, who is forced to make improvised weapons of his mining tools.

Gears of War 2 place you in the boots of Marcus Fenix. The Locust Horde has pushed humanity back to their last bastion, the city Jacinto. In a desperate attempt to save themselves humanity go underground to fight the locust. While underground you lern some intriguing things about the locust race.

Call of Duty: World at War tell the story about the Allied war effort Japan. The gameplay is very similar to that of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The game also focus on the soviet invasion of Germany. The soviet campaign is a bit more dark than the american campaign. There is also a bonus mode that place you in a bombed out building, where you must survive wave after wave of nazi zombies.

I've just played the demo to the new James Bond game Quantum of Solace for the PC.

In the demo you play as Bond and chase some sort of defector/criminal through some underground tunnels and ruins. The demo is very short with only about 10-15 minutes of gameplay, depending on how much you rush through it.The graphics and details of the enemies are decent.I think that the water looks really good. James Bond really looks like Daniel Craig. There are five weapons available in the demo. Two handguns, you start out with one of them, and two sub machine guns plus grenades.

As you chase the man through the tunnels and larger caves, you encounter several henchmen. You get plenty of oppurtunity to try out the cover system and a single quick kill. The enemies in game uses cover quite good. They hide big behind low wall and pillars and lean out to try to shoot you.

In my opinion the demo could have been much longer, for instance an entire level. But since the level the demo covers are from the new movie, it could be a question about avoiding plotspoilers.

After you complete the demo, a tralier will play.

All in all the demo is good and it's worth a look.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like Vix-blue.
Vix-blue must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could Vix-blue possibly have for not rating a single film?
