It's no secret that Lisa Kudrow is an aexceptional actress. I've always admired her for her incredible comical timing and understanding of her characters. Phoebe on Friends was always my favorite, and Valerie of The Comeback was tragic but oh som funny and downright brilliant. And now Lisa starrs in a new show, once again co-created by herself.
The show in question is Web Therapy, an online series, about five minutes per episode, where Lisa plays Fiona Wallace, a quite egoistic psychiatrist who has three minute therapy sssions via web cam, in lieu of the traditional 50-minute sessions, which she finds only contains meaningless talk. Most of the show is completely improvised, and it is truly hilarious. The show has had guest stars such as Alan Cumming and Coutrney Cox, and it is one of my favorite shows at the moment. So go check it our at www.lsudio.com.
Also enjoying Nurse Jackie, by the way.
Hope everyones great!
Ah, so it's here again - the only time of th year when terrible (I mean laughably bad) music equals something good - The Eurovision Song Contest! And even though I really do loathe the music, I never miss even one semi-final. There something incredibly fun with this whole extravaganza. And I, at least, have the sense to not take it dead serious, like most of my fellow Swedes. Anyways, to people in Europe: Don't forget to watch and laugh, and don't forget to vote for Sweden (even if, again, I hate the song).
Isn't it weird how everything can change over night?
I was having a real TV-low. I haven't really managed to follow any of my shows this season, and I really didn't think it would change. But all of a sudden, I'm dying for the next Lost episode, I'm totally psyched about Dollhouse, addicted to Family Guy and How I Met your Mother, and working my way up to date with Desperate Housewives and Dexter. And I'm generally loving this TV season. Except for the completely brutal slayage of Pushing Daisies! Such a loss for the world of television.
And also quite happy because spring shows its face from time to time over here in the south of the north of Europe.
I'm also slaying in school. I had an exam on French phonetics today, and it was crazy easy. And best of all - my two best friends are coming to town today, and that almost never happens, since my friend moved all the way to Växjö about half a year back. I was a bit devastated at first, though, because I was supposed to work tonight (selling burgers at McDonald's at four in the morning really isn't as glamorous as it sounds) but after calling half of my co-workers I found a guy who wanted to take my shift. Hurrah!
Hope everything's well with you guys. And also, let's marvel at the fact that it's my third blog in a really short time. Guess I might be here to stay this time around, ey?
