Back From My Travels

Well, my husband and I took a trip with our North American Rail Pass from Amtrak/VIA. It was one of the coolest 30 day periods I had ever experienced!

We visited many cities- Chicago, St. Paul, Seattle, Vancouver, Edmonton, Toronto, New York City, New Orleans, and San Antonio-and enjoyed every one. That sounds corny, but the longest we stayed in a city was three days. We have decided we must return to many, if not all cities.

I would like to thank all the folks who stopped to help two obviously lost souls and the wonderfully professional crews we met while onboard the various trains we rode. You were much appreciated by The Sainted One and myself, even if others onboard didn't.

We got to do many neat things (like see The Lord of the Rings musical in Toronto and the SF Museum in Seattle), but not all of the things we hoped to do (darn your road game schedule, Cubbies!).

So now, I have to juggle getting back into the flow of things back here at home, cheer my Mavs, and figuring out how to coherently remember the fun and the sights from our trip.

By the by- Alias' series ender? Still mixed about how I feel, but I enjoyed the last few minutes with the SpyFam, Next Gen. Now, on to Lost! (Doesn't absolve JJ from his part in Invasion's cancellation, tho'.)
