Electronic Game Show. Ring a bell? If you live in latin america you probably heard about this event. For those of you who dont know what it is i'll tell ya. The biggest game exposition on this side of the border. Compared to an E3 or TGS its fairly small, but we can fend off.

I'll soon post details.

Me? Just an anonymous player. Where I live? Now that's important, at least to me. Am I wrong? Don't care, it's my opinion after all. And why should anybody else care? That's easy. Lets just say the there are countries out there that have a lot of gamers. And yet, they don't have an industry. Or do they? Some say we do, some say we don't. What I do know is that we represents a large portion of USA total sales. Just check out gameplanet.com, one of the top selling game stores in Mexico. We obviously don't have native copies of any game, so where do they come from? American releases.

And we keep growing by the day. We have support from Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, EGM (in spanish), other small companies and pretty soon EA. Official support from big companies mean where in sight. Companies begin to consider us.

But not everything that shines is gold. We do have big piracy issues, one of the main reasons some companies are hesitant to give support to help our industry consolidate.
