I've got into my first choice university.

I'll be studying Law - admittedly not the most interesting subject - but given that I've spent 2 years doing ball-crunching A levels I feel vindicated to say the least!

*Breathes deeply* That's a weight off my back.

A harras of wild horses couldn't drag me out of my seat when I go to see this come 2010!

For those unaware, 'The Expendables' is a film directed and written by Sly Stallone due for release in a year's time. According to Ivan Drago/Dolph Ludgren the film will be, "an old-school, kick-ass action movie where people are fighting with knives and shooting at each other", which is somewhat of an understatement given it's castand potential!

The film essentially constitutes an 80's action/ Internet fanboy's most lucid dream made real.

I was fortunate to be at an event of sorts a few days ago where some rare and relatively unseen footage was previewed and it was for, want of better description - most excellent! I can't anticipate this film more than is humanly possible, and given the age and legacy of some of the cast members, the film provides what may well be their final farewell and chance to shine.

Best of luck to Sly with this one! Seriously, this is one film you wont want to miss.
