Well, lately, I haven't had that awesome feeling that I get whenever I'm on here. I always loved going on this site and I just couldn't wait, but now, I feel like going here is a chore. I'm not saying that I'm leaving or anything, but I don't know if I want to go on everyday. I know I have responsibility on here (being an editor and all), so I'm not going to leave this site just yet. I just wanted to tell you guys that for some reason, I just don't get as excited as I used to when I'm on here. Well, hopefully that ends soon because I remember how much I loved going on here! Oh well...what am I to do?

I'm sorry you're not feeling the way you used to about Tv.com

I felt kind of tired of it for a while and I just took a break for a week or two and when I came back I only came on a few times a week. Maybe that would work for you, too?

Just don't fret about it. Maybe all that you need is spacing out your time here from everyday to once every two days or three or as much as you need, so you feel eager to be back and in the right mood. Nothing like taking a break from something to realize that we miss it. It must feel like an entertaining routine and not like some kind of obligation. Take your time out, distract your mind from it and you'll be fine.

Hugs

I understand. Take a break. You deserve it. I think things will get more interesting around here when the new season starts.

Take a break from tv.com. I feel the same way sometimes but usually I have fun. I think it's because it's summer and not many people are talking on the threads and people stop writing blogs.

Don't worry, we all feel like that. I feel like that when I comment on blogs and check up on the forums because somedays I'm just too lazy to do it.

RidersAngel~Thanks for the advice! That could work!

boom-moo~Yeah, you're right!

IndianaMom~Thank you! Yeah, I think this site will start buzzing when fall rolls around!

tennisrobe26~Yeah, that's how I feel right now. Hopefully, the same goes for me!

Jon_MW_14~Summer is the season to go out and have fun, so you're probably right!

xlovedust~Yeah, exactly how I feel!

the site is getting more boring

Don't worry, I feel the same way. I don't blog anymore, don't post anymore, and have stopped commenting on blogs. I basically just log in to check my queue. Maybe you should take a break.

So THAT'S why nobody's posting. It gets discouraging sometimes writing my blog, or posting on a thread, and it seems like noone else is. I'll admit, when I first started, it was great. Now, it's not so great, and checking in everyday starts to feel like a chore. It's not drudgery yet, but I can see it coming. I've got one thread I'm working on, and after that, I'll probably scale back too. What's the old saying? "Abscence makes the heart grow fonder, but familiarity breeds contempt." So, if you need to step back a little, then do. Just be sure to come back rested and ready to hit it again. Hope your passion gets rekindled at some point.

The unpleasentness may be is seasonal, so try fresh air and sea, both work great. If it is routine which is boring, just try out new genres like Food Network shows. There are a lot of points just waiting for you.

It happens sometimes.. You just get fed up!

It's Summer as well as for me I would prefer being outside and enjoying the Season rather than being in front of a computer looking at sites!

I know what you mean. I once took, like, 8 or 9 months off. At this time, Boy Meets World is the only reason I stay.

i felt the same way. this is the 1st time ive been on in ages and it all seems great to me know. put your holiday settings for your shows and take a little break

Like everyone else said, take a break! I blog infrequently and just login to check my queue...you don't have to login everyday for your queue anyway.
Try every other day and see how you feel!

It use to be you could barely get a blog posted without another Friend/User there, Johnny-on-the-spot, anxiously wanting to comment. For a while now, repsonses are nothing but a trickle, if you're lucky. The program forum I originally came to TV.com for has all but dried up. Actually, it's safe to say it has, totally. I hate to be sad-sacking, but it's true. And it's sad. But I'm not throwing in the towel. Please don't you either. I'd be lost with out my VGFreak8. ***sniff... sniffle... sniff...***

srzeczyca~Haha, well put?

RCS_sportz~Yeah, maybe I should just do that. I will blog sometimes though and I will TRY to post on others' blogs, but not everyday and not all the time.

sallenj~Yeah, the 7H boards also feel a litle "chore-ish" to me. They're only games, but I feel like I have to play them or something. Good quote! Thanks!

ocean58~Yeah, I've been venturing into the Reality/Game Show genre a bit this past year(Wipeout, I Survived a Japanese Game, Wanna Bet?, Oprah's Big Give).

RosAzzo~Yes, very true!

Mattevt~That's about the same with me and One Tree Hill, but I'm not even submitting as much as I was when I first got the editorship. It's just for the queue.

ALEXLAW45~Yeah, breaks are good!

shelley06~Yeah, that sounds like a good idea! Thank you!

SparkleFarkle~Yeah, it seems less and less people are coming on this site. I'm not throwing in the towel though, don't fret, Sparkle!! I would be utterly lost without you too!
