It's a Science project, and we were suppose to create vehicles that fit in a 40cmx40cmx40cm cube, and are powered by either balloon(s), elastics (sling shotting), and/or a ramp (that must also fit in the cube).  The goal was to reach the 4.5m target, or get as close to it as possible.

My vehicle was made from straw, lots of masking tape, some wooden skewers and typically, a balloon that's mounted on top.
It's able to reach a distance of at least 6m, but the damn thing would sometimes steer left or right instead of going straight )
The trial runs last Wednesday Was pretty bad.  We had three chances of doing the objective.

First, my vehicle went over the target by a full 2 meters.
Second, it was approximately 30cm away from the target (to the right)
Third, it was approximately 40cm away from the target (to the left)

Those were just the trials.  We're going to have a head-to-head competition this coming Wednesday and my team is eager to win this once and for all.  If you guys have any suggestions for our vehicle, please post a comment .
