Wow. Its November. For me that means end of year exams and for everyone else the raipidly approaching Christmas! 2009 has past in a blur...

Know I know its a bit late, but because Tekken 6 recently came out, I decided to have a crack at reviewing its predesseor: Tekken 5 (link below or in picture)

http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/action/tekken5/player_review.html?id=689928&tag=player-reviews;continue;1

I awarded Tekken 5 9 out of 10, noting its mountains of content, ease of use, and replayability.

In other news I just recently took a look at some GT5 screenies, and almost had a man moment. Im sure some have already seen them, but if you haven't, here are some I picked out

Talk about stunning!

Hope everyone has been keeping well.

Well its back to school for me (has been for the past week, but I'm late). School means less time on the TV, which in turn means less time on the Playstation 2, so probably no new reviews there.

To fill the large gap normally filled by ironically slim PS2, I tend to play alot more casual games, which are generally portable. Recently I managed to find my GameBoy Advance SP plus all my games, many from my younger days. Just in time too. I preceeded to play my second GameBoy game I got; Pokemon Silver (oh no - not Pokemon).

Pokemon for those who may not know (who is everyone over the age of roughly 20) are collectable creatures (many of which seem to be reallife animals on steriods) that you (the protagonist) catch and train to become the best in the world (with whatever perkes that may bring/entitle). With each new generation of these Pokemon(s), there seem to be roughly 150 more strange and slightly more genetically altered monsters to train and collect.

But this is one of the original games for the GameBoy Colour (or Color) so its actually one of the good ones, before the number of Pokemons exceeded 400ish. (Don't know what the number is now, but I guess it would be getting close to 600...)

In other news, I recently saw (as in on Sunday) Planet of the Apes (the Tim Burton one) and Alfie (the Jude Law one). Planet of the Apes didn't really impress compared to what I have heard about the original, but Alfie did. Looking forward to what other think of the films.

So I decided to take a look at a review I did I while back now for the Lord Of The Rings: The Twin Towers for PS2. I decided to get rid of it and start agan from scratch because it was so badly written, to the point where it wasn't really an informative review.

So here it is, the not-so-new and improved: Urworstnhtmare's Review of: The Lord Of The Rings: The Twin Towers [PS2]

I gave it a 6.5, noting its long single player, music and depth but an unfortunate lack of multiplayer/co-op.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like Urworstnhtmare.
Urworstnhtmare must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could Urworstnhtmare possibly have for not rating a single film?
