Today me and Alan got a confirmation that world's bestest apartment is ours!!! 
I can't stop grinning. Look at this beauty he he

The Elm Park golf course
It's located in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, within a 5 minute walk from the sea. Our windows overlook a golf couurse, there's a tennis court and a swimming pool (pity I can't swim though). There might be a gym too AND there's a running track. Perfect. We'll be moving in in a week or 2. It's a completely new development and they are still putting the TVs on walls and placing vases lol. Now I just need to find a job in the area. Oh the excitement!
The rent is 1400 euro per month (approx $2200) though, Pricey but dammit, totally worth the money.

That is a very nice apartment!! Good to see the TV getting pride of place in the living room lol... wouldn't have it any other way

Looks great... and the location is like from a dream (Golf Course/Beach - I musta died and gone to heaven).

Congrats Una! The apartment looks terrific. Does it come furnished or unfurnished? Love the grounds! $2200 a month? Way to steep for my blood. You are a lucky girl!!!

Wow, congrats! It looks really neat, although extremely expensive. So they furnish it first? My Martin would never accept anyone deciding for him what tv he should have

Jon, 'tis fancy indeed. I'm not a golfer though but I think next week I'm gonna take my first golfing lessons at some not so posh par3 course. Oh the excitement! My thesis was on golf club management yet I've never held a club in my hands lol.
Cathgil, it's great alright! Suzy, $2200 is kinda average for Dublin. But this is only a 1 bedroom apartment so we are really paying for the location. Ballsbridge is one of those snobbish districts *sigh* but it's oh so nice... The apt comes furnished. We even get forks for free lol.
Moneyman, my thoughts exactly. The moment I saw the place I knew I HAD to live there. Dawn, yep it's furnished. And I must agree with Martin! I demand a bigger TV. Just imagine Hugh on a 50inch screen! *thud*

We have a 42 inch Pioneer plasma tv, now *that* is droolworthy. Especially when HL is on, but I don't think Martin agrees there

(BTW... happened to have a rerun of CSI tonight playing in the background. It was the one where Griss asked Sara to marry him while they were wearing Bee keeper suits. Figgered it was one of your favorites).
