Personal Updates:

Well, my Estimates are tomorrow, starting with English. I've been revising for one month so far for all my subjects in school and I hope I'll do well. Although they are just simulations, I really want to do well, especially in chemistry and physics.

Union Updates:

Not sure if I'll have time to post stuff or updates for two weeks, now that my estimates are tomorrow. But, I'll do my best to keep the union alive and full of entertainment. By the way, for those who didn't notice, there are 7 new emblems to collect so you better put you butt at work to get them. Joking! Right now, I'm also working on a new intro banner with links (not the union banner) for the union.

Gaming Updates:

OK. People seem to don't understand why I gave MW2 a low score. Actually I put it a bit higher now cos 5.5 was a bit too cruel. Anyway, I don't really have time to explain all my reasons but I'll tell you one or two for now. The singleplayer is just amazing and stunning and I'm willing to give it a big 10 out 10. It sure is marvelous. But I'm more worried for the multiplayer part. The multiplayer for a COD game (espcially one from the MW series) was the cherry of the cake. But with the PC version, it's just a big pile of ****. Don't get me wrong, guys, but who would want to play a multiplayer with less features and laggy than a console version? On the other hand, the multiplayer is just fine if you ignore these things. The gameplay is till good. Again, everyone should agree that the PC version could've been better and it was once more l.

Hello, everyone. I want to announce that I'll be extremely busy for the next 3 weeks. I have my Estimates in 3 weeks and my father feels kinda sick and I have to take care of him for a few days. I'll still be on GS time to time just to check stuff around.

About the union, I won't be active for 3 weeks. So I put my hopes on the officers to maintain the union and post bulletins about the latest stuff on Gamespot and other places. The rest will be updated by myself when I come back.

Well, see ya guys!

No, I'm not sick. If I was, then I wouldn't have posted this blog. Anyway, most of you out there heard about the leaked video on Youtube about the first mission of Modern Warfare 2. Now, the video is down, but I however managed to see it. And I have to say that it's sick. I mean, I played Dead Space, the Doom series and (put whatever you want here), but for a game like Call of Duty, it was quite sick.

Activision Blizzard confirmed that you can skip that part, but, it's still sick. Killing all the civilians isn't really something new for a FPS game these days, and it's practiced in other games too, but the way the guy from the video killed was just outrageous. He didn't have any mercy, or maybe that's you have to do to pass the level if you want to do it. The worst part is that the mission appears to represent the Mumbai attacks from 2008...So, Activision really though that making it a bit gory would've help the sales and promotion? Yes and no, and there are many reasons to say that.

I checked more stuff on the Internet, and it seems that MW2 will be very violent. So, from what I found out, the most intense depiction of violence occurs during a "No Russian" mission where players take on the role of an undercover Ranger: Several civilians are gunned down at an airport as players are given a choice to participate in the killings (e.g., players can shoot a wounded civilian that is crawling on the ground), or walk by and observe without opening fire. In either case, civilians scream and emit pools of blood as they are shot to death. Within the multiplayer portion of the game, players can unlock "emblems" to be used on their player name cards. Some of these emblems contain images that reference drugs (e.g., a cannabis leaf; a name card with a depiction of a joint). Dialogue in the game contains profanity in both English (e.g., "s***") and Russian (e.g., "f***" and "motherf***er").

I don't really mind that, like many others, but Modern Warfare 2 could've been great even without all this violence. Also, a representative from Activision said: "The leaked footage was taken from a copy of game that was obtained illegally and is not representative of the overall gameplay experience in Modern Warfare 2".

Let's hope that there won't be that much violence like in the first mission in the whole game.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like UbberHappyGamer.
UbberHappyGamer must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could UbberHappyGamer possibly have for not rating a single film?
