This post will be updated as neccessary. It will include two lists. If you find yourself on one, and are truely unsure why, then, there's really nothing I can do. I apologize, in advance, for your loss. If you find yourself on the warning list, you are not yet in true danger.

May I ask how you came up with your username UNOwen802? Have you read "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie, or what?
Posted Apr 3, 2006 11:11 am PT
I'm sorry. Don't give me Squirrelly wrath!
Posted Apr 3, 2006 12:30 pm PT
Hungry_Homer111, apology accepted. You are now off the list.

Wiesenthal, Yes, In fact I did read "And Then There Were None" I have used UNOwen (802) for a while. The only reason I add the 802 is because one of the choices for UNOwen as a AIM screen name was UNOwen208. On Pogo.com, 208 was not available, so in it's stead I used 802. I continue to use 802, even now.

zr122, I think I know what you're trying to say. Soy Mexicano tambien. But, no. Squirrelly Wrath is not something to be thrown around like that. It is too powerful to be used except in extreme cases.

Woo-hoo! No Squirrelly Wrath for me!
Posted Apr 3, 2006 12:57 pm PT
Have you read any other of Christie's novels?
I have read about 40-50 of them. There are only one or two books missing from my Agatha Christie collection, which consists of about 80 books. My favourite is The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, with And Then There Were None as a close second.

Unfortunately, I've only read And Then There Were None. I've been meaning to look into the others, but I've just never gotten around to it. And Then There Were None is my favorite book, though.

All I can say is: READ 'em all! Start with The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. I'm certain that you will love it.
By the way, have you played the game based on And Then There Were None? I have.
Posted Apr 4, 2006 10:59 am PT
There's a game? I did not know that. All I know is the movie sucked. I swear, it had nothing to do with the book! They changed WAY too much! Ugh, I get sick just thinking about it.
Posted Apr 5, 2006 9:13 am PT
There are several movies based on the book. Which one are you talking about? I just bought the 1945 version, which is considered to be the best version. I have not seen it yet, so if that is the movie you mean, then please don't give away any details! I hope I will have time to watch the movie this weekend.
As for the game, it was not that great. It wasn't bad, but they had changed the ending completely, with a different murderer. The ending was what annoyed me the most, since it was so unimaginative. I wrote a review about it. You can read it at the page for And Then There Were None.

I think it was the 1945 version. It was black and white. It's been years since I have seen it, so I could be wrong. All I know is, in the movie I saw, they weren't on an island at all. They were in a ski resort. Same overall concept, but still, I believe it to be an unnessessary change. The rest, you may have to see for yourself. If that is the best version, then I might be a bit too nit picky. I hope it is not the 1945 version I saw.

OK. Well, I'll try to watch the movie soon, and then I'll tell you what I thought about it.
Posted Apr 5, 2006 10:11 pm PT
I have figured out, that it must have been the 1965 version of And Then There Were None, that you watched. I checked it up on IMDB. It is black and white, and it's in that version that they changed the story, so that it took place on a mountain top instead of an island. The 1945 version is considered to be superior to the 1965 version in every way. The official title of the 1965 version is Ten Little Indians.

Hey, you seen the new Foamy clip?
Posted Apr 7, 2006 7:31 am PT
To Wiesenthal: Thanks! I'll have to check that one out! I don't like for movies to flob so bad at carrying out a story. I saw the movie for a class, so either the point of the movie was to point out differences, the teacher was malinformed.
To lil_angel: Thanks for the tip! Cracker Killing! Priceless! LMAO! Good ol' Pilz-E!

Well, seeing as how this list is fairly old, I figure it's time to take down the earlier entries. With no repeat offences since, I figure dues are paid.

Message received and understood, Mr. Unknown.

BTW, Wiesenthal, is The Longest Journey any good? I've been looking into TLJ: Dreamfall, but if TLJ is good in and of itself, I feel it might be worth searching for. Stores here don't carry games for too long...
Posted Apr 7, 2006 10:22 am PT
I just bought The Longest Journey (DVD version), and I'm playing it right now. It's a great adventure game, which I can really recommend, at least from what I've played so far. I will probably buy Dreamfall some day.

Actually I liked Foamy for a long time, I've seen all his flash clips.

I own many a Foamy toon. I hijack the .swf files. I don't have the complete collection, yet. But, soon, I will have all the Foamy!

Cool, I've been trying to get them myself, but to no avail
Posted May 4, 2006 6:32 am PT
If you need one, just ask. I may have it.
Posted May 4, 2006 11:32 am PT
I have now seen And Then There Were None from 1945. I liked it. The ending had been changed a little though. It was the same murderer, but a little different ending, which I didn't like. Other than that, the movie stayed true to the book in most cases. The actors were great, especially Dr. Armstrong (Walter Huston) and the judge (Barry Fitzgerald).
Posted May 7, 2006 4:22 am PT
Well, that's good to hear. I'll have to check that out. I doubt Hollywood Video would have something like that. The library has a decent media selection. Where did you find it?
Posted May 10, 2006 9:33 am PT
Well, I've been looking for it for a long time here in Sweden, but it wasn't available anywhere. I actually ordered it from Amazon in U.S.A. That was the first time ever I've bought anything from abroad via the Internet. I wanted the movie so much. I ordered it at the same time as a friend of mine bought another movie from Amazon, so we split the freight.

Here it is:
