I am kind of a sucker for these old drama/comedy movies where someone is pretending to be someone they are not and then get into a painful predicament. For me there were some tear-jerking moments, but overall I felt satified that I had spent my time well watching this movie. The sterotyping wasn't over the top either, so it seemed to give at least the appearance of what Japan may have been like in the early 1960's.

The sense of adventure is never ending throughout the entire movie. Why this isn't #1 - I do not know (no offense to the current #1 The Godfather).

A generic movie where the most intersting parts were the shots mixed in from the original movie. However, it was a good break for our family as we were visiting family to say goodbye to a loved one. Sometimes a no brainer of a movie can relieve stress. But in retrospect, this was the worst of the 3 movies. The original is still the best of the series - by far.

As Ron Stoppable, Kim Possible’s somewhat accident prone sidekick, Mr. Friedle’s talents brought Ron to life in a way that we never thought he that sounds like so-and-so from that show… rather we heard Ron.
As a new season of Kim Possible has been green-lighted, we look forward to more issues with pants, monkeys and …. GASP … a girlfriend?!?
Additionally, we look forward to any other new work in future endeavors as his talents and wit certainly warrants more exposure.

Although we recognize Ms. Sullivan's face from other roles, it is her voice talent which we have experienced the most.
First as Mira Nova on Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. We really enjoyed her ability to put Buzz into his place from time to time.
Next, as Shego on Kim Possible. Ms. Sullivan's brought so much life to the character that although she was supposed to be the bad guy you couldn't help but like her and her no-nonsense approach to things.
As a new season of Kim Possible has been green-lighted, we look forward to more biting banter and kick-butt action from our favorite villain.
Additionally, we look forward to any other new work Ms. Sullivan has in the future as her talents and wit certainly warrant more exposure.

We started watching Blues Clues during the first season and had been accustomed to Steve. It was a show which entertained and enriched and Steve was an integral part of that.
Following in Steve's shoes was going to be tricky, but the show and Steve did a great job transitioning to Joe and even bringing news from Steve back to the show a couple of times.
Like Steve, Joe always seemed to have wide eyes open to the world and always let us figure it out in a way that was not condescending.
Donovan brought life to Joe in his own way. Making his own mark on a show built on Steve. I think that although the task was daunting he pulled it off flawlessly.
We wish him nothing but success, but even though we have enjoyed Donovan's work on Blue's Clues, we still miss Steve.

When we found out he was leaving the show, we were saddened, but we understood. The show and Steve did a great job transitioning to Joe and even bringing news from Steve back to the show a couple of times.
My 9-year-old as me a month or so ago if Steve was done with college yet and would he come back to the show (keep in mind we haven't been regular watchers the past 2-3 years now), so it seems the show still has a warm place in her heart as does Mr. Burns.
We wish him nothing but success, but be warned - if we get any inkling he'll show back up on the show in a guest spot we'll have our Tivo ready!

Ms. Delisle first came to our attention as the evil baby-sitter Vicky in the Butch Hartman’s show The Fairly Oddparents. Later we learned of her diversity of voice work and are impressed with her ability to create such diverse characters. Sam Manson, Vicky, Emily Elizabeth, Azula, Tootie and countless others have all benefited from Ms. Delisle’s talents and as series wind down our family looks forward to many new characters voiced by her to entertain us in our living room.
Her ability to not duplicate herself has been surprising. Not once when I hear Azula speak do I think of Sam Manson or Vicky or vice versa with any of her characters. In that sense she’s similar to Tara Strong, another talented voice actor.
Keep up the great work and we hope writers and producers continue to use Ms. Delisle’s talents.

What can I say, but Mako gave the true Fire Lord (in my opinion) a personality which has defied the stereotypical bad guy image. Not to say he was portrayed as bad, but as part pf the maligned Fire Nation and as a royal family member his character began under the shroud of “the bad guys”. Although I enjoy the entire show, I know when Uncle Iroh is around the scene is going to be enjoyable. Mako’s voice work on the character has brought what may have seemed an ancillary character into a full character and one of the top reason’s I watch this program.
I remember Mako from M*A*S*H and with such a distinctive voice, I catch him on so many shows and movies. Now as a family we can enjoy his talents for years to come.
ETA: 7/23/06 - I had no idea that in a little over a week from posting this review Mako would pass. As a fan, of course I will miss his talents, but my heart goes to his family who will miss so much more.

We enjoy Mr. Basco’s voice work on both American Dragon: Jake Long and Avatar: The Last Airbender . Of course the older members of our family remember him from Hook. His ability to project such different characters through his voice work in these two shows allows us to see the characters for themselves rather than constantly being reminded of the other one.
Although his talented family may not have made headlines in mainstream media, it is great to see them continue to perform and we look forward to other works from the Basco Brothers.
As for Dante, special thanks for giving an angst-ridden teen firebender the right edge to his voice - strength and vulnerability at just the right moment. I hope writers and producers continue to provide works where he can showcase his talent.

Thank you to her parents for allowing us to enjoy her work. It must be difficult for any parent of a talented child to know if getting into the entertainment business is beneficial or detrimental.
As Ms. Whitman grows, we look forward to experiencing her talents for as long as she is in this business. We also hope talented writers and producers continue to write and cast her in interesting parts.

While we were introduced to Zach through Little Bill, we really didn't take notice of him until he became the voice of an Airbender. From what we have seen of the real Zach in the Voices from Avatar on the 3rd Season 1 DVD, he appears to be a balanced kid who doesn’t take his talent for granted. It is inspiring to the younger members in our family to play act and not be afraid of what others think about it.
We look forward to seeing the Ant Bully, but it’s going to be hard not to hear Aang every time Zack’s character speaks.

Our family was introduced to Jack DeSena through his work on Avatar: The Last Airbender. His wit seems to come through the screen through Sokka and we have found him to show humor in a way which the whole family can enjoy. He kind of reminds me of when I’d watch the Carol Burnett show where they did the skits. Everyone seemed to have such fun and I think Mr. DeSena has a similar appeal.
He has also shown a lot of sensitivity through the character of Sokka, which is also appealing. Very similar to Bill Murray, Jim Carrey, Steve Martin and Robin Williams in the way that he can be humorous but also serious.
We are glad to read that he will continue to try to work in the entertainment business for as long as he can. We can all use a laugh now and again.

Miss Flower's voice work seems to capture each of her character's personalities. Even though I can hear some common voice traits they never detract from how I envision the character.
On the Emperor's New School her character Chaca is spunky without going over the top. As Meng on Avatar: The Last Airbender the character was sweet yet slightly obsessed but not so much that she couldn't see it. Now her character of Toph, also on Avatar: The Last Airbender, is a no-excuses tough-as-nails character that not only has great powers but also has a huge amount of self-confidence.
It's great she has so many interests and I'm very impressed with her ambition to become a surgeon. I wish her the best in what ever path she takes and look forward to hearing her work in the future.

As the creator of Fairly Odd-Parents and then Danny Phantom, I was surprised to find various similarities between Mr. Hartman and myself. But then when I thought about it, that is probably why I enjoy a lot of his humor.
Fairly Odd-Parents appeals to me because of how ridiculous the situations are and often hidden jokes are sprinkled into the show. I know some feel the humor has waned, but for the most part I still enjoys Mr. Hartman’s (and his staff’s) work.
So it was my enjoyment of FOP, which led me to start watching Danny Phantom. Again, another show with hidden references, which I found amusing and yet went over my 9-year-old’s head. The only issue for us now is our daughter thinks she’ s “part-Goth” like it’s some sort of heritage thing :-). I point out to her that just because she likes the character Sam doesn’t mean she’s part-Goth.
As it appears both of these series maybe sunsetting, I look forward to seeing any new projects Mr. Hartman has in store for us.
