Excellent RPG action and Rosie is the best feisty red-head of this year, pushing out Etna for the first time.

Glad you enjoyed it. That game rules, but Castle Crashers is still my personal #1.

I personally wouldn't rank it as the best game this year, but it is certainly the most underrated game this year and should win Gamespot's "Best Game No One Played" award. Great game, but it had so little hype and came out in a time crowded with high profile sequels.

Using an image from "the enemy's" servers? For shame.
Mirror's Edge is my game of the year. The criticisms that the critics have are legitimate, but I don't care. What this game does right, it does well.
I like insane, fast-paced acrobatics (and I'm smart enough to know not to perform it in the real world.) I like puzzle solving. I like characters who wear normal clothing. I like geometric shape-inspired design. I like bright, bold colors.
I get all of this in Mirror's Edge.
(And it is nice to get a break from the dark 'n' gritty cities and organic fantasy worlds that almost every video game forces on us these days.)

I don't think is fair that only one game gets Game of the Year. I think that they should (and have) broken down the game of the year according to game type. I'm hooked on Fallout 3 so far. So from a RPG stand point, I have to be biest and go for Fallout 3, but as far as story voice acting and sound, I think I would go for Dead Space.

Probably not going to get around to playing that game anytime this year, but glad you found something you really liked that wasn't getting all the commercial space on Television.
