HA! I actually managed to work a Darla quote into my title! I feel all proud of myself now .

So, yeah I haven't blogged in months. Mainly cause of my exams and also I haven't really been in the blogging mood recently either but I felt like it tonight and blogged!

So yeah exams all over YAY! They weren't as completely awful as I thought but still sucked with all the studying. I'm not sure how well I did but I am hoping for a few A's as I really did study hard for some subjects and will be disappointed if I don't do well. And I really want an A in History because I learnt everything so, so, so well but I made a big mistake in a question that will cost me 6 marks at the very least, so I was all sad and dejected after that . But French and Spanish went just amazingly well so that kinda cheered me up. Chemistry, let's just say it was an epic fail but MEH that bitca of a teacher is outta my life so I don't care! Soooo happy to be off for summer.

I have also been watching loads of TV recently which has been awesome!

Finished Veronica Mars. I was so sad it was over for days after, I just completely loved it all (though looking back Season 3 was not as good as the first 2 seasons) and can't remember loving a show this much since I started watching Buffy and Angel. I'll mostly miss Veronica, I seriously could just watch a show where she sits down and talks the whole episode, she is just too awesome. And I'll miss Keith and Logan and Wallace and Mac too . Bleh I hope whoever cancelled it is.. not in serious pain.. but in like some small pain. The finale was just completely amazing, I know they didn't have time to answer all the questions but I was satisfied with it and the last shot with Veronica walking off in the rain was just so perfect.

Dexter Season 3 has really picked up from the slightly slow first 3/4 episodes and am completely loving it at the moment. Only 2 episodes to go, the last episode I seen was "Go Your Own Way" or something like that, wow Miguel Prado is manipulative and intelligent. And he got the Skinner to kidnap Dexter I was all . I can't wait to see how it all turns out, I know it'll be good (Dexter rarely disappoints me). I am of course loving Rita this season, Julie is as amazing as ever and I'm happy that she's getting more scenes and I like her friendship with Syl (please can they keep Syl on next season?). The only thing I'm not liking is the Deb/Anton relationship, it just doesn't work for me at all! Think she is far better with her partner guy, Quinn I think he's called? I would rather she went out with him but overall I'm not too fussed.

Also rewatching Dollhouse as it airs in the UK, it works so much better as a 40 minute show, they had to cut down on 10 minutes I believe and the whole thing just feels more fast paced than before. I've actually liked most episodes more than when I first seen them (except Stage Fright and True Believer which I didn't like as much). And I seriously love Eliza the more I watch it, she is just sooo hot and I know some have problems with her acting but I actually think she is great and love Echo more than them all except Adelle (the boss lady). AND I converted my mum and sister to it and now they both watch it! My mum in unsure about it, though she was impressed with Man On The Street and my sister loves it, I think she likes it more than Buffy/Angel (she never loved them really I think). I'm actually surprised my sister loves it, thought she'd hate it but YAY for converting people to Whedon shows!

Speaking of Whedon shows, I started watching Firefly as well . I thought I'd be disappointed cause I've heard so much good things but I really love it, halfway through it now and it's just so so so good! I love the whole idea of it and even though it's sci-fi, I love that it is all about people (Joss just does characters so well) and I love all the cast, especially Kaylee, Mal and Inara. I actually think Kaylee is one of my fave Joss characters (which is weird cause I didn't much like her in the pilot episodes), she's just so IDK.. sweet? She reminds me of Fred (but I think I love her more than Fred, though I do love Fred). Blah, Fox are evil for cancelling it but I'll forgive them cause they renewed Dollhouse.

Also started ANOTHER Buffy rewatch, why is it that it never gets old? I always get the urge to rewatch it every few months, it's like an addiction, I'm so pathetic .

So yeah to sum up TV = awesome.

I went to see the new Transformers movie last night and omg it was SOOOOOOOOO BORING. The only good thing about it was Megan Fox, the rest I hated. I'm all for cool special effects but there's only so much explosions I can take. And it was far too long as well and the story sucked IMO. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Hope everyone is well etc. . Have a great week!

Hey Twisted Aw I'm so glad your exams are over heres hoping you do well! I wasn't keen on the Deb/Anton relationship in Dexter either but no way should she be with Quinn! The guy is a total sleazebag! Maybe they will keep Syl seeing as Rita went into business with her but who knows. They cut 10 minutes from Dollhouse? What station is it airing on? Not that I care as I don't like that show. Funny thing about Jewel Staite (Kaylee) after Fox cancelled both shows she was in Wonderfalls and Firefly she never seemed to be in anything else. Shame.

I want to do well in History too, but I think I f-ed up. There was a question on a picture source for like eight marks. ON A PICTURE. Ugh. Maths went dreadfully as well. Hope you did well on all your tests! I like Kaylee, but on way is she better than Fred. Kaylee was sweet, but there isn't much else too her IMO. And the actress is no Amy Acker!

I actually like the Firefly cast a bit more than either Buffy or Angel. They all just seem to click more together.

Hellooo!! Yay, a new blog! It's been forever! Congrats on finishing exams! It seems like you had exams ALL the time and now they're finally over! I don't even watch Veronica Mars yet, but I feel sad about it being canceled coz I can just tell I'm going to love it when I watch it. I want to rewatch Dollhouse too. I hate that the UK gets to see Epitaph One firsttt. Bye.

It's been ages since your last blog!! I'm so glad your exams are all over for you I'm sure you will do well, and yay no more evil chemistry teacher!

Another Yay! this time for Veronica Mars I liked the show, did you see the Season 4 promo video, pitching season 4? If you haven't you should watch it

I always liked Dexter S3 but I'm glad you're loving it now, I'm never really Deb's hugest fan but I do know what you mean about her and Anton, not the greatest. I just thought the Miguel storyline was awesome

I didn't realise they had to cut Dollhouse down over here, but it's always a good thing to convert more people to Whedon! Firefly was a surprise to me too, wasn't expecting to love it like I did... Kaylee is a super cute charatcer

Glad someone else wasn't that fussed with the Transformers movie, I didn't hate it but really didn't love it and everybody else seems to... was beginning to think it was just me Anyway, have a good week

Yay you for leaving that all behind you. No more chemistry ever? I am probably most happy for you about that. Wasn't it sad that VM was over? You are right about the third season, they tried to have two mysteries pretty wrapped up to attract new viewers... The last episode was great though, loved the last shot myself... Have you seen the extended trailer for season 4? Veronica going FBI? I was so sad it didn't happen, this show died before it's time... Season 3 of Dexter was a little slow in the beginning but it got great in the end, enjoy! I am not a big fan of Deb in general, although she is growing on me a little. Go Rita! I made a Dexter Rita icon and I should wear it for the occasion that you made a blog. *fixes herself up*

I agree, 40 minutes should be better, it was a little slow paced at times, great that you like it even more now. Cool you like Firefly. I ship Mal and Inara a little. And Kaylee does have some super sweet scenes. It's really an accomplishment, I like almost all of them... Another rewatch, lol. Did you start from the beginning? Enjoy.

I just went though your comments and saw that Katherine recommended the season 4 trailer herself, why am I not surprised? *waves to Kathrine*

Yay for finishing exams and summer off. That is a lot of TV, I have Dollhouse on my loooong to do list this summer. Too bad about Transformers 2. I'm gonna take my kids to see it at the drive in this weekend. I know they'll enjoy it and i'll probably enjoy just relaxing and watching things blow up.

Yay for the darla quote and the exams being over! It's so sad when you finnish one of your favorite shows. I remember the feeling I had after I watched Not Fade Away, I was sad for months. Wow I'd love to see the British version of Dollhouse! Yay for Firefly! I think that if Firefly had gotten a few more seasons it could have become my alltime favorite show I hate Fox!! I know the rewatching Buffy feeling. I can't wait to see the new transformers movie I can take as many explosions as they throw at me lol.

Hi There,
Obviously I have never read your Blog before but I really enjoyed it. Glad your exams went well, you can relax and enjoy the summer now (and LOTS of tv watching!) Loved the Darla quote by the way. I agree, re-watching Buffy NEVER gets old but I tend to watch my favourite episodes more often than others, especially the ones centred around Faith, Willow, Xander and Giles. (And Darla and Fred were my absolute favourites in 'Angel', even though I didn't like the show itself very much.)
I've heard some pretty bad reviews of the new Transformers movie so I think I'll give it a miss!
Enjoy the re-runs!
Cheers,
Lady Lancaster

Dexter has gotten so excellent in the last few weeks. I've just seen I Had A Dream and wow, brilliant.

I'm actually glad that Dolllhouse will be back for another season, it's picking up and Sci-Fi UK will be airing Epitaph One on August 11th.

I too followed the Dollhouse storyline, though I didn't think it was anything special, you know in that Whedonesque kind of way. However, the end season episodes redeemed the show for me, and I especially liked the twist involving doctor Saunders and Alpha. Speaking of Alpha, I can't help but notice how different he, as a character, is compared to Wash. I mean, seriously, Alan Tudyk has some pretty buff acting skills, if he can pull off parts like that. In retrospect, pretty much everything Firefly related was awesome. P.S. Didn't see Transformers, not really my kind of movie, on the other hand, I did go to see Terminator Salvation and I have to say it really was worth the time and money.
