Why does a name matter? A name matters to some as a symbolic gesture for an item. But what does a name have to do with a game console? I've heard countless put down from people about the Revolution/Wii, its obvious that a name is more important than the console it self. So they call it the Wii, does it take away from the fact that the system will be awesome? No, its just a name. But leave it up to a bunch of immature kids to come up with potty humor with it. But why do people pass on the Xbox or PS2 just because its by a company they don't like? I mean if the console is good wouldnt you buy for that reason and not because of the name? I dont like Sony but i have a PS1, PS2 and a PSP (im not proud of the PSP) but i still have them because i like some of the games thats exclusive to it. But i like all game systems. There will be alot of people that wont buy a Revolution/Wii because of the Wii name, and i think its wrong to pass on it just for the name. But thats just me.
