Hi Turk here and this is my WWE Night of Champions 2009 Review. As of this writing, I'm currently in the middle of getting ready to go on holiday for a week so depending on when you read this, I may already be there. Due to this, my review of this show will be short as I'm quite busy getting ready but I want to get this review out of the way before I go.

The show itself was like Judgement Day from earlier this year, decent but not memorable apart from one thing which I'll get to shortly.

The Tag-Team Title match was disappointing to say the least...mainly due to the fact that Big Show was the mystery partner (I wanted Christian). But if there's one thing I liked about this match, it was that the biggest heel in the WWE right now Chris Jericho (fact) got cheered. Speaking of Christian, I'm happy that he's ECW Champion again since Tommy just wasn't doing it for me as champion.

I wasn't bothered about the two women's matches, though I'm gald that Mickie is finally Divas Champion. The US and IC Titles matches were also disappointing. The US match felt like it could've been so much more and I'm still ****ed off that Bourne wasn't in this match. Also, why didn't The Miz win? As for the IC Title, I really wanted Ziggler to win since it could've helped him get over big but hopefully he'll get another shot at Summerslam.

The WWE Title Match was very good and much better than their Wrestlemania 24 match. The ending was a bit weird but I wasn't bothered by it. Hopefully now, Orton will move on to someone else other than Batista, Cena and Trips (Please make it HBK).

And the final match of the night was also the best of the night. I've loved this feud on Smackdown these past few months and I'm also happy that Hardy won (I'm a mark for Hardy). Yes, the rug has been pulled out from under Punk (again) however this time it can mean something as he could just lose it and go full-heel. Please WWE, I'll ask you one more time...Title vs Career TLC Match at Summerslam please!

So overall, I enjoyed some aspects of this show but there wasn't enough to make it memorable (apart from Hardy's third World Title win). It's worth at least one watch but as a DVD? Nah! Ratings:

Good review I felt like that this show could have been better but it wasn't bad.
