At first glance Beowulf may seem like one of those films that will only please people who have fell in love with the English classic. I stand to testify that this is not so. The graphical design of the movie, combined with a stellar storyline stands to make this one of the best films to close of this great year of movies. I was amazed at the graphics of the movie the most. At several instances it seems that this is not a CGI film but rather real film. The characters, mainly Wiglaf looks the most human, others look a bit fake (such as the Queen). Ultimately this works well for conveying several of the most important parts of the movie. The most epic part that was done fully well is definitely between the race at the sea (great orchestral score here) and the dragon fight (another great orchestra score). I love the soundtrack, mainly "A Hero Comes Home (song by the queen and yet again during the credits)" and also "Gently as she goes" song by the queen again. The story was amazing and the ending a bit unpredictable. Nice movie.
