Friday the 13th goes together with being a day of misfortune like peanut butter and jelly, but then you have those that don't want jelly with their peanut butter. People like me, I've never understood that combination. Peanut butter is well enough without you adding redness to it, looks like someone with hemoroids left me a "Good morning" for breakfast.
Anyways I woke up early by the sound of my cell phone ringing, it was a friend and he wanted to go downtown with me, and get your filthy mind out of the gutter now. I figured that since I was on the prowl for two games that I knew came out now I accepted his 8 o'clock in the morning request and we were on our way.
Now I've heard a whole heap of things about Gamestop, I've heard they are horrible, rude, irritating, worships Satan and that Lindsay Lohan lives in the backroom eating babies and valium but I wonder if that's an American phenomenom. Upon arrival at my local Gamestop store they had more or less just opened up, with pride and confidence of being in my right element I walked up to the clerk and asked if they had F.E.A.R. 2 and Shellshock 2 in since it was their release date here in Norway. Then came the bombshell. I was the first customer and because of that and that I was going to purchase F.E.A.R. 2, I was given the Limited Edition and a 30% discount on the game and Shellshock 2, which sadly didn't have any special editions. Now this is pretty special for me, It's basically my first ever special edition game and also for the sequel of a game I've had tons of fun playing.
Friday the 13th, a day of misfortune?
I think not
