Just a little update on life. Baby J just turned four on Friday, four months old already. He is really growing, wearing 6-9 months clothing at the moment. He is above average in length, but he is around the fifteen pound mark right now. That's about double his weight since birth.

We started feeding him rice cereal and he has taken to it well. I'm a little worried about when he begins to eat solids, though. I've seen my nephew choke on several foods and I wouldn't ewant that to happen to baby J. Oh well, we'll deal with that when/if it ever happens. Thus is life.

I just found out that I have been summoned for jury duty. This will be the second time for me. I don't mind serving, but I'd rather not miss any days of work at the moment. We plan to take off for the week of Thanksgiving to take a trip to Florida and I intended to have perfect attendance at work till then. I'll let you guys know if I become a juror. Not sure what all I could say about the case, but we'll see. Later.

Baby J. I like that. Sounds like he might be bigger than dad. I've never had jury duty, but I've heard boring things. If you're in the Pensacola area, hit me up! Take care Travo.

I might be in Pensacola during the Thanksgiving break. The wife has family there. We are either going to Fort Meyers or Pensacola.

Cool. If ya'll come this way, let me know in advance. I'll drop by and say hey to you and the family. Plus if it's ok with the wifey, you and I could maybe go fishing.

Sounds good to me. Even if we don't make it during Thanksgiving, we're bound to travel there during the next year, if we have the funds.

Glad Baby J is doing well. When he gets to solids...just cut it up really small.
As for jury duty...had it once. Turned me off the system.

Glad the baby is doing good. I haven't had Jury Duty. I'm sort of dreading the day it happens.

Jury duty eh? Well good luck. And man I hardly remember when my kid was that young! (She's only 17 1/2 months) but it seems worlds away now.

Glad to hear the little tyke is doing well. About jury duty, I've been summoned twice. The first time, I had to go down to the courthouse where my number was pulled, but the case was settled out of court. The second time I had to check the website to see if my number was called, and I was excluded from the selected range by only like five or six numbers! Can I dodge the bullet a third time?

The day I get called up to jury duty is the day I either find an excuse or am given a criminal record.

Glad to hear J is doing well.

Yeah...Babies grow like crazy. Never had to do jury duty. I'd be okay with never having to do it, really.

We started Connor on the cereal around the same time.. We started him on the Gerber stage 1 a few months ago and just moved to the stage 2. We have been mixing that with the cereal and he loves it.. Though it must be a lot better than soy formula. Either way the cost is outragous.. Every time he spits up..all I see is quarters flying out of his mouth.
I have been pulled for Jury duty twice.. once for criminal which the defense had medical issues so we were excused.. I was also pulled for a civil case which was settled while we were there.
Don't really really have to worry about it anymore.. As much as I would like to do jury duty.. There is no way they are going to pick a police officer to serve.

I was called to jury duty twice the last few months - once for the town and another time for the county. Luckily I didn't have to serve either one Hope it's the same for you, although different states may do it differently.

I've been summoned for jury duty at least 4 times. Glad I now have an excuse for not being on one anymore. Hope they don't pick you.

Jury duty has to stink. Glad to see the baby is good hope the choking thing doesn't happen not all babies do it.

Chloe will be 4 months on October 20th. Both our babies are growing so fast I was told by the Lactation nurse to not start any cereals or anything until 6 months. Babies throats and swallowing abilities aren't that strong until then, so I'm not giving Chloe anything but a bottle until 6 months old. The way she explained it made sense.. sorry if mine doesn't.

Did jury duty once but thankfully I was called up and sent home

That's great your baby is growing, big is better then none. I have a new daughter due Dec. 2nd, can't wait to be a dad again. Best of luck with jury duty and enjoy Florida. Don't forget to take lots of pictures of your little baby J cause they grow quick.
