Switchfoot is streaming the ENTIRE album Hello Hurricane starting now, a whole week before it comes out! I'm listening to it now, and from what I've heard it's about as good as I expected. Remember that my expectations are sky high for this thing, and that it's been my most anticipated piece of entertainment for months. Switchfoot is amazing! Check it out on their MySpace! They also have a new, and *official* video for Mess of Me, check that out on YouTube. Rate it, comment on it, favorite it, and tell people about it if you like it to promote the video! In completely unrelated news, I wrote a quick review for Doc Louis's Punch-Out!!, the free game Nintendo gave as an option to its platinum members. Well that's it for today, just needed to stop in and let you know about those pieces of awesomeness for the day
and tell you about that little review too, which clearly isn't as significant as Switchfoot's new music and stuff. See you later!

Well, for being such a fantastic platinum member of Club Nintendo I finally got to download Doc Louis's Punch-Out from WiiWare. It was fun while it lasted (which was maybe 45 minutes... maybe). I do want to try the full Punch-Out game on Wii but I bet it's really hard. Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on it eventually, whether I rent it or buy it when the price is reduced
. I'll have a review up for Doc Louis's Punch-Out on Sunday, when GameSpot says it's being released even though it's already out
.
Last Friday I saw Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, so of course it's inspection time
. The first half of the movie, well, in my humble opinion it was pretty poor. It was perverted, the story was way too rapid fire (if that makes sense), and (SPOILER) for pete's sake we all knew that Optimus WASN'T GOING TO STAY DEAD! But the movie started shaping up nicely in the last 30-45 minutes, the final battle was long, epic, and awesome. I felt like they captured the scope of giant robots beating the crud out of each other much better than in the first movie, and it was really REALLY cool. It was cool enough to make me forget about the first half of the movie and make me want to eventually get the movie JUST to watch the finale over and over. The special effects were awesome, although the FINAL final battle of Optimus against The Fallen was over too quick. And of course, they just forget Megatron even existed and he gets away
. Gee, maybe they were thinking trilogy? Well overall the movie left me on a good note so it manages a 6/10 despite the poor start.
I also just finished watching X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and I must say it was quite good. It filled in the story nicely, was pretty entertaining, and was pretty CLEAN as far as objectionable content goes, which was very nice. I know the critics generally didn't like it at all but I do tend to disagree with the critics. Deadpool was creepy, but the final battle was really cool. I still think it's depressing how so many people die in X-Men movies, I mean even though most of them are minor characters it just gets depressing. Nevertheless I give the movie an 8/10. Not too shabby.
To end on a superiorly good note, Switchfoot released a new single yesterday! The Sound [John M. Perkins' Blues] is pretty much one of the most awesome songs I've ever heard. Probably going to be one of the very best on Hello Hurricane, which by the way comes out two weeks from yesterday! Can't wait! Well I'll leave you with that, see ya later!

I don't really have anything to blog about today, except maybe that I now have 216/235 stars in the Guitar Hero Van Halen career. I've beaten all the songs (on expert) except Spanish Fly and Eruption because they are IMPOSSIBLE! I'll have to post a video of me attempting them because you just have to see this insanity... and how far I can actually get with my newly found mad GH skills. I'm telling you, Van Halen made me THAT much better at Guitar Hero, and it's kind of scary. I might have to post a video of me playing The Takedown by Yellowcard or Cathedral by Van Halen also, because I can actually play them really well. Oh, and I'm level 32! Snake Eater, sweet. See you later!

My Recent Reviews
Pixar has never made a bad movie. My least favorite was Ratatouille, but even that was a good movie. Up, however, just might be their second best ever.
The story is a very strong point of the movie. I really don't...
