Instead of doing it today, I decided to cut to the chase and came out yesterday. It could have gone better, but it also could have gone much worse. My Dad was pretty much fine with it, but my Mum, while having no particular objection to it, veered to the old "It's just a phase/You're too young" thing, but I'm sure she'll grow out of it.
Meanwhile, I went into WH Smiths and bought RTD's "The Writers Tale". It's a good read, you'd be amazed how much thought and decision-making goes into making a series of Doctor Who, and how much the series changes over time.
I haven't got round to learning more guitar notes yet, but I've gotta go eat some Bolognese now, so I'll see you when I next have something interesting to say (If I ever have anything interesting to say, that is)

FWIW As a straight bloke I can see the apeal of Gareth David-Lloyd: he's temptingly sultry, like a femme fatal. But if you said "David Tennant", that would just be alien to me.
Good luck with the guitar. Wrote some more of MM today, was s'posed to be doing that now.
It's got to be better to be true to yourself. My eldest son is interested in going into genetics, so we put the John Barrowman documentary on for him about genetic predisposition to being gay and as we told him what the program was about he was surprised at the premise that it even could be genetic, he'd always thought it was "a choice". So we asked him, "do you like boys that way", and you could see from his reaction he didn't, and he knows we are open to it because of our friends, so he'd have no reason to hide it (otherwise we wouldn't have put him on the spot like that). Then we asked him, "do you think anything could persuade you to think differently" and he thought about it and said "no", so we said, then how can it be just "a choice"?
By the way, John's program was fantastic if you haven't seen it. Hopefully one day everyone will understand, but sadly it won't be sometime soon.
It is good fun though hoisting folks who take the religious line in Leviticus 18:22 with there own pitard, just wish it wasn't necessary.
I considered buying Writer's Tale the other day, but it was awfully expensive. I might wait 'til Christmas!

Spod - I would bring home someone, if only I could ever get anyone with a pulse. No, wait, that's too limiting for me - pulse optional.
Steamy - I did see that program, it was definitely interesting, but I was a bit ticked off that it didn't really mention the genetics that go into bisexuality.
Grace - I dunno how I feel, it's not that much different than before really. And that's good.
Matt - I don't think I'll come out to my friends just yet, I did tell a friend a couple of months ago at a party, but we were both drunk at the time and she had no recollection of the night the next day.
