1. A change in the colour scheme. All this bright white and light blue hurts my eyes after 10 minutes or so on this site, so I don't stay on here to do any contributions.
2. Sort out the search box! Is it too much to ask to be able to limit the search to the forum you are browsing? When I'm on the Doctor Who forum and search for information on "doctor who series four", I don't want to be bombarded with threads about Grey's Anatomy.
3. Put the member information at the side of the post, not above. At the moment, the post is squashed into obscurity, which, coupled with the awful colour scheme, makes reading forums very uncomfortable. It's also easier to find a certain member when scrolling down with the avatars and names at the side.
4. Improve the blog comments function, so that we can put in smileys, and coloured text, and bold, italic, underlines, and PARAGRAPHS!
5. If you need to stick the tabs at the side (I don't know why, since they were fine at the top), could they be on the right-hand side please? (Or the left-hand side from the computer's point of view) That way it's closer to the scroll bar, which means I don't have to drag my cursor all the way to the other side of the screen to click on a link smaller than an ant's penis I know it doesn't sound like much, but I have a very erratic touchpad.
I can't handle this new format, the complete lack of logic in it's design is unbearable. Messing with the colour scheme, letting all the bugs in, squashing the posts into obscurity, all these things they've done to screw up this once user-friendly site, without even fixing the BLOODY SEARCH BOX!
So that's it, screw it, I'm done, I'm gone, I'm outta here. See you in October.
I hope you're watching, Gods of Tv.com, because we're not happy! You hear me? WE'RE NOT HAPPY!
Instead of doing it today, I decided to cut to the chase and came out yesterday. It could have gone better, but it also could have gone much worse. My Dad was pretty much fine with it, but my Mum, while having no particular objection to it, veered to the old "It's just a phase/You're too young" thing, but I'm sure she'll grow out of it.
Meanwhile, I went into WH Smiths and bought RTD's "The Writers Tale". It's a good read, you'd be amazed how much thought and decision-making goes into making a series of Doctor Who, and how much the series changes over time.
I haven't got round to learning more guitar notes yet, but I've gotta go eat some Bolognese now, so I'll see you when I next have something interesting to say (If I ever have anything interesting to say, that is)
