So I just tried to play my first online game in NCAA 08 and all I have to say is never again will I even attempt it. Half of my button presses didn't register, all my movements were delayed. It's impossible to play football like that. The only thing I think you could possibly do is run the option, which I'm sure is why my opponent was West Virginia. It was the single worst online experience to date.

haha nice...I actually am a Junior at the University of Washington, but I've been a Florida Gators fan since I was a kid

I have no problem with someone playing with West Virginia and running the option. I've played football at both the high school and college level so I realize that its part of the game and I had no trouble stopping my opponent.
It's just everytime I would try to throw, I'd have a guy wide open only to have my button press do nothing and result in me losing 12 yards getting sacked.
Maybe I'll give it another shot but this guys ping rating on here was full, so I assumed it doesn't get much better.

Yeah the same thing happens to me sometimes. the first game i played was awesome, i beat some dude who was using kentucky with the UO ducks 31-16 and didnt suffer any lag at all. My second game was doin the same thing that you were describing. maybe it all depends on who you play?

It unfortunate that you can't trust anyone's record then since the good ping games seem to be hit or miss. I mean I'm not going to stop playing the game, I just won't play it online.

haha, this is random, but I just went 14-0 (including winning the national title) with the Gators in my first season of dynasty mode...BALLIN...and oh, I play on All-American, the 2nd hardest difficulty...yo Rick, have you played Dynasty mode yet, or are you just playing online for now?

For the most part, I play Campus Legend and Rivalry games that give you trophies. And talk about weird, my campus legend is the QB for Florida and I've won 3 National Titles and I'm 5-0 in my senior year currently. I made a wallpaper with my guy.
