For todays blog, I'm going about some stuff that's been angering me lately, its a bit short because I have to study for exams. Lets get started...

Exams

I've done almost nothing these past few days but study. And for what? So I can spend 3 hours being tested on stuff that I've already had an hour test and 3 quizzes on? I mean come on! They really can't find a better way? Not only do the majority of my time has to be spent cramming my brin with facts that I probably wont need until finals, but they have to add the stress of mking them so important? I havent relaxed in week. Whenever I'm not studying, I'm worrying that I should be studying. It feels like more effort and stress than its worse.

Twilight

This I dont understand. How could one story manage to turn all vampires into whiny, pale, annoying teens? I miss the days of Blade.the story also makes no sense at all. Its comepletely stupid and Heres another guy that shares my opinion: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bX-wBa-UJVw

My Defective Motherboard

Why can't things just work? I have to get a new computer now because my motherboard burnt out. Why can't they make things to last anymore. I had to rent a computer from my school library just to go on the internet. Its ridiculous. I feel cheated.

Update: Dec 16: I finnaly got a new computer, it was 700, not bad, but still. Windows 7 is pretty cool.

My first real blog post in a while. I was reading the L4D2 review and i realized that a lot of amazing games came out this year. So is it possible than 2009 is better than 2007 and 2008? Probably. Here are some games I think prove it.

Uncharted 2

My Score:9.5

Arguably the best Shooter this year. Nathan Drake is back in another hunt for fortune. The graphics are great. The sound is great. The gameplay is great. The story is great.The Marco Polo/treasure hunt/Betrayal is pretty intruiging. Everything is great. It's fun. The multiplayer is fun. What more can you ask for?

NHL 10

Gamespot Score: 8.5

My Score: 8.5

Its only a small improvement over last year, but that's not bad. Last years was great, so this years is pretty good, to put it lightly. Again, great graphics and sound. The 1st person fighting is pretty cool too. The physical play is also a good aspect of the game.

Modern Warfare 2

Gamespot Score: 9.0

Now I haven't played this game yet, but I can't really exclude this one , can I?

UFC 2009 Undisputed

Gamespot Score: 8.0

My Score: 9.5

I'm not sure why it only got 8. I really liked it. Its really fun to play.The graphics are great, no clipping. The Commentary is also really good. I like the soundtrack, but it's a bit short. Overall, no complaints.

Theres so many other games I haven't mentioned: Killzone 2, Assasins Creed 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Crack in Time, Infamous, Halo: ODST, Bordelands and more. I think its amazong that the gaming industry has done so well in the past three years considering the econmic troubles.

By the way, I know I said great a lot.
