This is what I feel. Welcome To My Lair . . .You've Been Warned

I am not sure why I gave this such a big title. I debated between Midwestern Goth (something I don't call myself since I love the look, but don't listen to much of the music, but others call me it) and Girl. I went with both.

I shall be ever so busy with school this semester. Not only do I have my schedule of cla.sses each day of the week, I have to do the stuff my mom can't do at home, contribute 25 hours in theatre for my stage management course, and see all the plays. I'm a terrible theatre person. I don't see plays. Though, the stuff I want to do I'd want to see. But I don't see many plays. I don't even see many movies anymore. I bought a movie from England 2 weeks ago. "Dorian Gray." The 2009 remake. I liked it. Good movie, good performances, sexy scenes. Tonight I am watching "Little Ashes."

Anyone see the cover for Vanity Fair's fresh faces? Apparently, to be a fresh face in Hollywood, you have to be a skinny pasty white girl. Damned if all those girls don't kind of look alike. They could be in a very specified brothel. Though it would be somewhere on the East Coast, for those in Ivy League prep schools.

The Haiti telethon is long gone, but the "We Are The World" remake is upon us. With all new celebrities, and Nicole Richie. The song is updated, according to what I read. And with the rappers in it, damned if I don't expect rap breaks. I think it'd be so funny after a chorus, Lil Wayne broke into, "We are the world mother f*****! Come and take a look at it. Haiti's in trouble mother f*****! And we gotta help more than a little bit!" My mom told me that SNL did a great parody of the original in the 1980s, and she hopes they do it again. No one I am a big fan of is in it. Perhaps I shall give it a listen. We'll see.

I did not watch the Grammys, but I have a guilty pleasure of red carpet fashion. I noticed the future Mrs. Russell Brand (Katy Perry, well, we'll see if it makes it to the altar, cause ya never know) had the bangs of Bettie Pae, and referred to her look as "Bettie Page Indian Princess." Not a look I liked, and I'm sorry, but as a big fan of the top pinup girl, those bangs fit with more of a cla.ssic 50s look, or the punk of Goth look. And the actual look of Bettie. But what surprised me is how people were surprised of Lady gaga's outrageous appearance. Did people honestly think she'd show up in a simple black Versace gown, heels, and $1 million worth of diamonds? The outfit was very different, and I like different. However, the makeup made her look like a man posing as a woman. That's what I would have changed.

That's all for now. Sorry it was so long, but I enjoy expressing myself.

I was bored, and there wasn't anything on last night. I tried to watch, but the music was terrible. I got bored. I didn't turn it on until a little before 8PM (Central time zone, mine). Right after that, Rob Pattinson came on, looking tired and with a beard. Granted it was like 2AM in England. But I called to my mom to turn it on, cause she adores Robbie. The beard was something to joke about. I donated $5 a day or 2 after the earthquake happened, to Wyclef Jean's charity. Then the day or so after, they question his charity. I can't help but wonder a few things. First off, with the Haitian government so corrupt, will the money raised be used to rebuild the poor people's homes? Or will they use most for themselves? Second, all these celebrities were working the telethon, right? How many actually gave their own money? They are all filthy rich. If each one of them gave a million, and there were over 100, than would the poor people of our own nation need to donate? I only gave $5, and wasn't planning on giving more. I'm just a poor college student. The only money I have is from grants and loans, and that's mine. I need it to live on. But the telethon, was dull. If you didn't watch it, you didn't miss much. Really anything. The only real reason I tuned in was to see if anyone I liked was answering the phone. I would have loved to call to talk to someone I like. Though, there aren't many actors I like, mainly musicians. And they aren't even famous musicians.

Last night, I watched a program on Travel about hese murders in 1912. I forget where they took place. Vallisca? Anyways, a man murdered an entire family, and neighbor children with a blow to the head with an ax. Now that man's ghost lives in the house, and haunts anyone who dares live there. It was a freaky program. They don't know who the man is either. One of the greatest unsolved crimes.

I have this weird feeling Brad and Angelina (I refuse to use their combined names cause those are dumb) will break up this year. I always see how they are apparently fighting on those gossipy mags.

I start school this week.

Finally, RIP to The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien. It will be weird, no Cone Zone for a while. Even last year when he was off the air, at least we knew he was returning. Conan's the funniest man on TV, and he deserves the best.

Hello all. I have been so lazy with doing my review of 2009, and the decade. And this is not it. Still working on it.

I was in a panic 2 hours ago, cause I got a school email saying that if I hadn't taken one cla.ss, I would not be able to take a cla.ss I signed up for this semester. So I had to drop that and find something new. Hopefully what I have will work out. I am taking Bowling (which I have already taken, but felt like it) until Spring Break, and then Mind Body Awareness after spring break. I was going to take that a year ago, but dropped it due to scheduling conflicts. Only 3 people are signed up for that, so it'd be so messed up if that one was dropped, and I would be back where I started.

There were a few things I wanted to comment on from last week. First, some of the most interesting (I lose that word loosely) couples got engaged. First was Katy Perry & Russell Brand, or as I was jokingly calling them, Bimbo and the Beast. (If you are wondering Beast, I saw a poster for the cartoon, and looked at Russy's hair, and saw similarities. As for the bimbo for Katy, that's what my mom calls her, so I got that from there) Then was Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood, or as a friend was calling them, The Odd Couple. I can't help but wonder, between these two pairings, whose courtship will have longevity? Who will make it to the altar, passed it, and for how long? Second for my comments, I truely believe Kim Kardashian is self conscious about her appearance. She lives in LA, where most of the girls are sticks, and she obviously is not. I believe it bothers her that she isn't tiny, and that is why she doesn't shut the hell up when it comes to her body.

One thing I have discussed about 2009, why the Kardashian gals are famous, even considered celebs? One was in a sex tape, one got pregnant, and one got married. My fav reason is getting pregnant, as well as being related to the girl in the sex tape, but mostly pregnant. Women get pregnant all the time. What was the big deal? I still can't help but feel certain famous people are the reason eugenics could be brought back. Harsh, but, do we really want the annoyingness to be around for generations to come?

I hate how NBC is treating the Cone Zone, but worshipping Leno. Bastards. If it weren't for SNL and Conan, I wouldn't watch that channel.

So Long & Good Night . . .

I've seen the original of Sleuth and thought I might as well see the remake. Plus, Michael Caine is a great actor, and I still kind of like Jude Law. After seeing the movie, I was left with a lot of questions. For some reason, this movie was...
