First off: It's multiplatform. The whiny console people are finally getting their share of Crysis. :3

UPDATE: OnLive. It seems weird.
Most notable features of it:
-Run every PC game regardless if it's on Mac
-Run every game at high detail and framerate regardless of computer hardware (This part, I'm interested in)
-See friends, view videos, buy/play games
Who knows, maybe PC gaming has finally gone past "next-gen" and maybe created a generation of its own? It's essentially the PC's version of Xbox Live (except you get more bang for your buck).

if CryEngine 2/3 are just going towards generic shooters, i want out of it. give it to some Japanese developers, also known as the developers that seem to have the games with the best artistic looks. I want DDR with lots of... HDR and soft shadow effects!
That's the price you get for making it on consoles. The PC hates eet.

Agreed.

2 - 5 = -3.
@vidplayer:
It is a good addition to consoles, but I wonder if they'll start complaining about something else now.

CryEngine + Japanese developers = ownage. I'd totally love to see that. I mean, even though the Last Remnant sucked, the Unreal engine opened up so many new possibilities for testing for SE because they didn't need to wait to test their game, the UE already let them do that. Imagine the CryEngine in the hands of such skilled people.
