Gears of War just recently had the controversial "Game executable has been modified" error. So, I just about can't play it anymore (and I just got my gamertag to work today!). Just makes me wonder if this is some sort of trick by Microsoft to make us pay for patches, in addition to making me wonder if it's also attached to all their GFW titles as well! But we shall see. Boo, GFW.

On another note, my Skull Candy earphones come in next week! I also purchased Nick Turse's The Complex: How the Military Invades Our Everyday Lives, too. I found it through Wikipedia and became interested in it, so I bought it. The shipments are due next Mon/Tues.

Dawn of War 2 comes out next month! I would be playing the beta right now, but my brother started complaining (like he usually does) whenever the internet hits a speed bump and forced me to cancel the download because he "couldn't train his Hunter in Ragnarok Online".

The Last Remnant did pretty bad, but I've been itching for a singleplayer RPG for a long time (a bloody shame that FFXIII will never get a PC port, we could run it at 2x the detail and with DX10, too!), and I heard that the system was much improved as well, so it'll be on my list in the near future (most likely to be picked up during the summer), to be picked up as the PC version, of course.

On yet another note, I actually have enough money to afford a 360! But since it's the middle of the school year, my parents don't want me buying "more mindless games", and I'm taking the SAT this year... well, yeah. FFXIII... ooooooh, how teasing that is.

I think you can change your PC date to get Gears to work. But it's not a solution, only temporary prevention until Epic patches it. Which they should do by next week or you can expect many angry gamers.

MS doesn't give a f*ck about GFWL

You want conspiracy? try looking for the car that runs on water. the government and big oil had it shut down. i'm telling you. it exists!

MS makes a buttload of money off of operating systems and computers. why charge for XBL/GFW? even when it comes to that, they're actually getting owned by the economy (5000 layoffs zomfgwtfpwned). *sigh* i bet that's why they're doing it. the economy. 1million xbl subscribers = $50million a year? good excuse to make money and they know that gamers are going to pay for it. we're part of the problem.

single-player RPG? you need Fallout 3 if you haven't gotten it already.

Im more hyped for Starcraft 2 than Dawn of War 2!(Knowing Blizzard it will take ages to release)
But DOW 2 will be a good game nonetheless...
U want a good single player RPG?
Try, The Witcher, Neverwinter Nights 2 and its expansions...

@nutcrackr:
It works. But I'm too lazy to click and change dates.

@essi2:
True that...

@bullet:
Fallout 3. Gosh, so many games I need to get.

@aaron:
The videos look great, too.

@kingrich:
Indeed it does.

@spartantec1:
The Witcher is on a level so dark that my parents would burn it at the stake, and I already have NWN2 (I don't play it because the campaign is so insanely hard... and I've beaten it 3 times already).

My brother keeps telling me about Dawn of War 2, but I'm not sure I'll be getting it on account of the fact that my PC blows ass.
