As some of you may or may not know, I currently work at GameStop (yeah, I know, we suck).

Anyway, it was business as usual today when a guy came in carrying two huge crates of ps2 games to trade in. Mostly terrible games; however, what I found in one of those crates is the focus of the blog post. A red-boxed limited edition MGS3: Subsistence, in nearly perfect condition. I bought it for $20.

Yeah, I'm happy.

Could it possibly be that after 5700+ hours of game time(probably more, as I'm not always on xfire), I'm finally through with World of Warcraft?

Oh, by the way, hello everyone. Long time no see. With 5700 hours on WoW, it's no wonder I haven't had time to do anything else on the computer.

It pains me to say it, but I do think I'm on the verge of quitting the game. I've had a good run though, especially lately, which may be why I find myself bored. I got my ironbound proto-drake about a month ago, the server first kill of Algalon last week, and I'll soon get gladiator with patch 3.2. That really about covers everything high-end you can do, doesn't it? I've gotten over 700 achievements, and helped my guild shoot up to ~60th in the world and ~30th in the US. I realize that with new patches comes new content, but the changes have started to really impact my opinion of the game...

If only it were still like The Burning Crusade, and arenas were still fun. Back then, I'd be able to play arenas all day and have fun regardless of how they were going. I played a ret paladin even back then, and was just about the only successful one on my server. I was even accused of win trading because my ratings were so high! Now, every time you go into an arena all you see is druid/dk teams, and have to try to power through a 40 minute battle where RNG hopefully goes in your favor. The 2s bracket has always been filled with flavor of the month comps, but never to a degree this bad. I suppose that's why blizzard is attempting to phase them out in the next patch, but that just seems to me like they're giving up on it.

Oh well, maybe I'll play Aion when it comes out. Though, I doubt I could ever be as hardcore into a game as I was into WoW.
