When I rented this movie, I was expecting a 'Beowulf' clone. The plot surprised me. Because there was none.
There was no character development either. I felt no compassion for any of the 'good guys' and I felt like the original Pathfinder (old Native American guy) actually deserved it when he did get gacked.
The most unbelievable was the main character. He practiced alone with the sword for years and somehow got to be better than any of the actual vikings? This girl fell in love with him?
naw, don't bother.
