Normally I'm not one to play a game past the prologue and first battle and already get a feeling for the game itself. But with this game I feel that it is going to be great, I really enjoy the characters and art direction. Also I'm very intrigued with the story so it has great draw in.
So with that I will allow my time to be consumed by this game
I've decided to finally begin writing my story again after taking a long break from it due to a lot of things coming up over the course of the year. I know a few people here have read a few of the chapters I wrote and thanks very much for your opinions. Without you I would not have improved as I did when it came to writing
.
That being said though, I will be scrapping most of the original idea and moving on to a new theme and setting. Most of the characters and places though will be in the new setting a few have changed though
. I originally was working on two stories, one which I shared with everyone and one that I wrote but never really showed to anyone. I decided to combine these two stories into one giant world with more crazy characters, new exotic places, and more from the crazy depths of my mind
.
Of course I will still need help as I am still not all that great at writing. I can capture depth and dialogue but grammar can be a real challenge still. So if anyone would like to help me out by giving me some positive criticism please let me know
.
Maybe someone can help me understand what is the deal with Headsets? Every so often I see people complaining about those without them. Now I don't have one for my PS3 and the one with the 360 I plug in and mute so I don't have to hear anyone.
The main reason why is that I really don't care to talk to people as it seems every online experience I have had has been the equivalent of shoving glass in my eyes. Now granted there are decent people that I would enjoy talking to but for each one I find there are 20 I can't stand.
So when I hear people complaining about others not having headsets on, I can't help but wonder and surmise that they are probably the very people I'm trying to avoid. So I guess the main question I have is, does it make me less of a gamer if I don't feel like talking to people online?
