I am a huge fan of the Harry Potter books and previous movies. However, I was extremely disappointed with this movie. It was over 2 hours long but they cut out so much of the story development that it lost the story's greatness. The best parts of the book were there, but without the lead-in information, it was jumbled and didn't make sense. The announcements hung on the whole were almost pointless as they cut the parts that showed how they impacted the students (e.g. Quidditch).

I was pleasantly surprise by this movie. While it seemed to follow an action movie formula, it was still entertaining and fun to watch. My biggest complaint was that time was spent on character development for characters that really had no impact on the plot (the NSA girl and the hacker guy). The graphics and animations were incredible and the robots looked great.
