A few days ago, I started playing Vagrant Story. I bought the game in May of last year and only about 3 days ago I put it in my PS2 for the first time...took me long, I know. I love the camera movements/angles during the cut-scenes...it makes it all more exciting. I think the dialogue is very well written. The game uses a lot of old-English dialogue, which "sounds" great in my opinion. I was kind of lost with the battle system at first; but after carefully reading the in-game tutorial, I got much more confident with it...so far so good I guess ^_^

It's good. I've got it and I hope you enjoy it. It takes ages to find everything (and you can't do everything first play through either).

^^^ Indeed, I have read that some areas will only be unlocked on the second play through...I am still working on beating the game for the first time. Vagrant Story is quite a hard game (to me, at least 
) but I am enjoying it.

It is, it's really challenging, which I think is always a good thing. Plus, with the second play through (don't worry, I won't reveal any secrets), there's still around 30% of the game to uncover through secrets and exploration.
