Its been a while since I updated this, something that really should have been done ages ago based on the amount of comments I’ve received from people who seem to have read something into what I posted that simply wasn’t there. I’m old enough to have seen virtually everything before the first time around, you know the phrase “As old as the hills?” well I was around when the hills were just mounds… despite this I am still constantly surprised at the lack of comprehension of your average fanboy, who can seemingly see anti PS3/360/Wii comments in the ingredients of a packet of rice. I’ve been labelled a fanboy both owners of every console manufacturer just for stating an opinion that wasn’t theirs, despite having owned a PS1, PS2, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Dreamcast, Gameboy, DS, Xbox and currently a 360 they convince themselves, maybe to help them sleep better, that they’re right and I’m wrong. Should you take the time to read through everything I’ve ever posted on here you’ll find more than a few cheap shots at the PS3 but also at the 360 and one or two at the Wii… the PS3 will come out as the main target of these because its just so damn easy, a comedian once asked why he constantly made jokes at the expense of former US Vice President Dan Quayle to which he replied, “I try not to, but when you’ve got such a massive target moving along so slowly its really hard to resist” which I can relate to with the PS3. When you come across a cheap shot reference please keep in mind that it’s posted not to offend, but to try and lighten the mood, we’re I to be the rampaging lemming you probably take me for then there’s a few people on my friends list who wouldn’t cross the road to piss on me were I on fire, they can see that any such jokes are posted in jest… and should you look beyond your initial conceptions you’ll should be able to see that as well. So far, this is the only generation of consoles where I’ve not owned at least two of the main players, and there are reasons for this, mainly that there has yet to be anything released on either the Wii or the PS3 that I’d actually want to play… although Metal Gear Solid 4 has come closer than most… when there are titles out there I want to play, I’ll be straight down the shops cash in hand and walking out with a brand new system in hand.
