They are the DEVIL RAYS. Yeah, I know, 2008...new uniforms...new name... "the Rays". They're still the Devil Rays.

I had a dilema at the beginning of the playoffs. My beloved LOSER Yankees had failed to make the playoffs for the first time in I don't know how many years. I had to choose another team to root for if MY baseball season was to continue into October. I had to pick the Rays. Why?

I didn't watch more than MAYBE 3 games all season...and it wasn't the full time. I watched when they played the stupid Red Sux and I was very vocal about how I support the team as long as they weren't playing my LOSER Yankees. It's only fair...I live here amongst the sea of Yankee and Red Sux fans. I feel bad for the Rays since most of the sports fans here in Tampa Bay are diehard BUCS fans. Somebody has to support the Rays...

Of the 4 AL teams, the Rays were the logical choice to root for. So, here I am...rooting for the Rays.
