Ok, so pretty much everyone has a blog about this game but I really don't care. And now I'm gonna make one. I got this game on the release date and came home from school and played this game like there was no tomorrow. I played the story mode first and was blown away. Yes, it's really that good. I can't talk about though because I don't want to spoil anything. So after that I moved on to online. The online is incredible. It has a sort of "different feel"from COD4 though. The ideas are the same, just the physics of it are a little different. This does not tale anything away from the game though. I'm basically saying this. If you have the game, great. It will keep you occupied for a while. If not, you need to get to the store right now and buy it. For reals. Get out of the chair right now. Go get your keys. That'sight. Now get in the car and go buy it. Hopefully it's not sold out.
Well we gave it a good shot but it wasn't good enough. The bullpen just couldn't hold them. Well better luck next year. Hopefully Ned Coletti gets us some great pitching. I would love to see the Dodgers win the World Series one last time for Vin Skully. With him retiring after next season, watching a Dodger game on TV will just not be the same. I have grown up listening to him broadcast. He will be dearly missed. But lets not forget about Joe Torre either. He is also retiring. The Dodgers need to win a World Series for the both of them. That would make me extremely happy, and they could retire with that last memory.
Series tied at 1-1, and going to Philadelphia. This is going to be a good series. I thought that the Dodgers were going to pull it off in Game 1 but not getting those runs in with runners in scoring position and the big homerun Sherril gave up hurt them big time. But I am really glad that they came back in Game 2 and took advantage of the Phillie's mistakes. Especially the overthrown ball to first on the double play. Then Ethier being a disciplined hitter and forcing the walk, driving in the go ahead run. Finally, Broxton closing it up like he usually does, with the high heat. With Game 3 on Sunday, I have a feeling that this will be a long and tough series. As long as the Dodgers keep their heads in it and not get caught up in the pressure, we will see LA in the World Series.
