I think having at least SOMETHING Tetris-themed would be really sweet for Brawl. The way it would work (if you didn't see my last thread about this) is, Tetris pieces would fall from the sky and hurt the players on the field, however, if you jump on top of one as it comes down (they fall slowly, mind you) you can go in for the aerial attack!

So the question is, should "Tetris" be an Assist Trophy or a level all in itself (or maybe even a new game mode)?

1. Assist Trophy: Grab the AT and the Tetris music starts playing (if having the music come in seems obtrusive, just think of the hammer; you don't really think of it as negative when that music comes in... unless you're not the one with the hammer), and Tetris pieces start falling. This could add a whole new dimension to whatever level you're playing on.

or

2. Level: The Tetris music plays the entire time. At first, you stand on acompletely flat field (cause you're standing in the puzzle-dropping area), then Tetris pieces start falling, rotating, whatever, and they change the field of battle as they do so. Like with the assist trophy, the pieces hurt you if you stand under them when they connect with the floor, but you can jump onto them as they fall to gain the high ground.

or (I just thought of this as I was typing, haha)

3. A new game mode: In Tetris mode, one player plays a game of Tetris on a large-scale Tetrisgame board-dealio. The other players duke it out (such as on the Tetris level idea above) as the person plays. This would add a whole new dimension not only to Tetris, but to the level itself since a player can directly control what's happening

What do you guys think? I think it'd be really fun, personally, and would help Brawl come that much closer to having every single franchise covered.

For those of you that may not know, Gamespot.com, Gamefaqs.com, and TV.com (amongst others) are all shared sites. So in other words, you can use the same account (name and password) on all three!

Anyway, I made a new review for Battlestar Galactica (aka the best show on television, or in my case, on dvd, cause I don't havecable or the sci-fi network...) on TV.com and I'm inviting anybody and everybody to give it a look! Even if you think Battlestar Galactica sounds really lame/nerdy!

Oh yeah, and here's a link: http://www.tv.com/users/Superlink517/history.php

Hey, I dunno if anyone else has thought of this... Just today I was reading an Archie Comic (haha, I know, but I love 'em!) and in one of them, they were talking about how comics can appreciate in value, and some become REALLY valuable (IE the first Spiderman comic's worth today, or any other c1ass1c like that).

So back on topic, it got me thinking... Video games are basically like comic books were back in the day... Our parents and older relatives always say "Heck, I didn't think they'd be worth anything later on! I just wanted to read 'em!"

Will video games be like this in the future? Will there be "Vintage video game stores" where copies of the original, gold-cartridge Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time go for hundreds of thousands of dollars if they're in good condition?

I dunno... maybe I'm wrong! It just seemed like a possibility.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like Superlink517.
Superlink517 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could Superlink517 possibly have for not rating a single film?
