Well Christmas has arrived and now it is gone again 
But I had a great Christmas. I got a PSP-3000 (yeah I could just say PSP but I enjoy saying PSP-3000) I am really enjoying playing around with it and connecting it with my PS3. I only have one game for it which is MK Unchained but I plan to get more.
Overall it has been a great year of gaming for me. I have really enjoyed playing with the PS3 and finally introduced to HD gaming. I played some really great games and to be perfectly honest, I reckon I jumped in at just the right time... Trophies, Home and LBP of course! Now that I have a PSP I can get the most out of both my PS3 and the PSP.
I also got a lot of career points this year and I am really close to Brigadier General (that is the top rank in BF2142 anyone can get)
All I need now to get the full HD experience of gaming is an Xbox 360. However I might wait a bit longer as I need to save my money for my licence which I will probably get early next year. After I get my licence I will start saving for a 360.

*WARNING WALL OF TEXT*
General:
I am a hardcore gamer so I am interested in video games. I am also a dedicated gamer and play a variety of games. I like to keep an open mind on the video games I play. If someone tells me not to buy a game, that doesn't stop me from buying it. I usually research the game and try and find some gameplay footage and usually I know at that point if I am going to like the game or not. I NEVER go by reviews. I find reviews unhelpful mainly since they don't determine if you are going to like a game or not. Reviews basically tell other gamers their personal experience when they were playing the game. We are all different and will have different views and opinions on a game. Some gamers often argue and make fun of people who like a underrated game. But I am proud when I like an underrated game. Think of it this way, I have enjoyed playing a game, when others have failed. I think that is an accomplishment on it's own.
Music:
I like music from all different genres. I hate pop and rap. I might be a bit sympathetic towards pop if it wasn't on the radio all the dam time. I don't consider rap to be a true music genre. It is like taking poetry and just adding a rhythm and beat to it. I also find it very repetitive. I am sorry if you like rap but this is how I feel and I am sticking by it. I like rock however I only like rock if it is constructed right. I think some rock bands try and mix rock and pop together and you might as well just call it pop. I like heavy metal also but I don't like the heavy metal when the singer is just screaming into the mic. I think the 'screaming' or 'roaring' is a bit overused. I don't mind it when a heavy metal band uses this technique but only every now and again during the song. Not all the way through the song. I probably could go through all the genres and form my own opinions on them but I am just going to tell you that I like listening to music from a variety of genres. No matter if it is from a video game, a movie or even a TV theme. If there is a song that can create emotion and I find my personal meaning to it, I will like the song.
Movies:
I like many movies. I hate drama movies even though I have seen many drama movies that I happen to like. I don't like the drama movies where it basically revolves around 'love'. I also hate the drama movies that end badly and make you think that you wish you never even watched it. As much as I hate Drama, I despise musical. I am not even going to even tell you why I hate musical because it will just take so long to point out of the elements that are wrong with the musical genre. I don't like horror, however I like how a horror film is constructed. I have to say, that the elements behind a horror film is pretty cool, but I try to avoid them at all costs. My favourite genre would have to be action. I find an action film to be very entertaining and I love it when suspense and comedy is added into a action film. My favorite Action/Suspense film would be the Dark Knight and my favorite Action/Comedy would have to be Bulletproof. I do follow the James Bond Series and have watched all the 007 films to date. My next favorite genre would have to be comedy, however some of the recent comedy films have come as a disappointed. Some of the comedy films I have seen have really crossed the line between funny and just plain stupid or disturbing. I also like science fiction as long as there is some action involved. There is many movie genres I could discuss but I better just leave it at that.

Ok, on a side note, my exams are over, don't know the results yet but I think I did reasonably well. I am on holidays so my activity will be increasing. It would have increased a week ago but LBP has been distracting me with Mega Man 9. I haven't played Mega Man before, I have seen a LP of Mega Man, but I haven't actually had a chance to play it for myself. I am really enjoying MM9, it is a great game and it is cool to see an old school platformer once again.
