Anyone who has played decent adventure games should know of Bill Tiller, who helped make the awesome game that is Curse of Monkey Island. Bill has a new game in the making, and the name of that is A Vampyre Story. The game is a point-and-click and has stunning hand-painted locations.

At first I didn't pay much attention to this game, but as more information slowly seeped out, my adventure game senses picked up and I look forward to getting this game. If you want some more information on this game (since I've sold it so well to you... right?) which I'm pretty sure is coming out soon, check out the official website.

As you can see from my emblem on the right, I watched the Nintendo '07 E3 conference live and when I was watching it I was awaiting some big new game announcement that would totally shock me, perhaps a new franchise that they had been secretly working on, a game that all the hard-core gamers would love. What was it instead? Wii Fit.

When I heard the news, I laughed it up with all my friends, but I've changed my mind on it. Although I really dislike this whole approach Nintendo is taking in trying to introduce new gamers (Wii... Chess!?), I'm going to get this. Not only does it look really innovative, but perhaps other developers could use the balance board to make some clever, new game.

I'm also looking forward to A Vampyre Story though I dread it being a commercial failure due to the simple fact of what sells these days and what gets ignored. Time will tell I guess!

Strike_Zer0 - Yeah, just because it doesn't have guns or cars, people won't buy it.
Big_Bad_Sad - You're welcome.
kingrich06 - Have you played all the Monkey Islands?

My pc only has a 1.9ghz processor and 512mb of ram no idea on the gfx card. Bet I wont be able to play this, now i have an addition to my which console to get dilema should I upgrade my pc. Vampyre story look very promising i'm especially loving the artwork kind of similar to the stop animation look of the film corpse bride. Thanks for the info.

Jack_Force - I'm pretty sure you'll be able to play Vampyre under those settings - I don't think it'll be a very demanding game in that sense.
