Yeah, I think I may take a break from unions and stuff for a bit, at least maybe make some posts or check whats going on.

Why? Well, this week, has completely ****ed over sideways and made such a bloody mess of things for me.

For those of you that do read rants and stuff, Im sorry if you guys don't, I just feel so pissed it would only make me feel better if I could talk it over with friends and stuff, thats how things for me kinda work when Im annoyed.

Well then, for a start, I've never been quite the happiest person around, teachers want me to talk to a councillor because they think that Im unable to feel genuinely happy for people or myself when something does make me feel happy, because Im never happy for more than a few minutes on the same subject, only if Im constantly kept happy which games can do for me sometimes.

Im sure some of you have encountered a problem where your car or bike breaks down, well that happened to me twice this week, once on my bike, which is now fixed, and once on my college's bus when we went on a field trip. Ever tried pushing a bike for a mile? It ain't fun.

Im kinda being pressured to find a career choice so I can select some college courses next year which are relevant to it, thing is, I honestly don't know what to do and realistically won't reach what I've always wanted to do. So right now, the college pushing me to do that is just irritating. I wanted to see if there were flight engineers still in work with BA but its all done electronically now so its just 2 pilots rather than 2 and one engineer...gotta love technology when it takes your job options...

My 360 keeps crashing/freezing, and Im worried now, its an Elite and I paid for it and all the games on it and I can barely get a go on the thing because my mum supports that my bro should be able to play it when he wants to keep him quiet.

I got Bad Company and wow, so many noob snipers that can't headshot me and instead keep chipping away health. Im a demolition soldier, I got 10 kills in a row. With a shotgun alone. Died and came back then knifed 8 people in a row.
I don't need no sniper to kill people because I don't suck in close combat like snipers do and I don't need some pistol thats seriously overpowered.

This has also annoyed me a little. Its my birthday soon and its not just my dad who wants to say happy birthday this year and do something. Its a miracle, my mum wants to do something for me...and annoyingly it almost takes the mick so bad that she only does it now, that it almost makes me angry. And so does the fact that almost all my friends said "If you're gonna have a party, you will have a couple bottles of vodka for us each right? Or else I won't be assed coming." Yeah and I have a liver, I hate hospitals and having operations, so Im stuck because there isn't anything to do in the town nearby either...I've never really been happy on my birthday or christmas so if this one goes well, it'll be a first time in a long time that I enjoyed it.

My PC keeps shutting down and I'll be lucky if this blog gets up. Because my PC seems to have a pathetic fault of shutting itself down when it loads more than 3 programs for some reason....

Well Im definately seeing the college councillor again, dunno if it'll help me that much but yeah its why I've been off.

That is how crap my week alone has been. Allot of other stuff bugged me very badly last month and I swear some friends are ignoring me because I've had a bad week.

Just saying, don't expect as much activity as you usually get from me because right now, I just cannot be assed with people disagreeing and arguing with me especially because they think they can have an outrageous opinion because they're behind a computer screen.

Careers are a tough thing you only really knw if you like job once you have it, problem is you could spend 5 yrs training for it then hate it. In fps games I love to use pistols to the annoyance of people in css and I hope its possible is mgo without being sniped to pieces.

Being happy for yourself is one thing but why would you be happy for others wow he/shes really successful oh they won the lottery and my lifes just sh** i'm so happy for them my arse no ones really happy for the majority of people unless there one of your closest of friends it's just a case of who can pretend the best so they don't look like their being a di** Thats my outrageous internet opinions or nuggets of truth

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate week. As for your career choice, i spent a year in university doing something i hated before i left that and found what i want to do. It takes time, nobody can rush you.
Posted Jul 11, 2008 5:16 am PT
Im 23 and still dont know what I want to do. Im in a computing degree so I guess I'll end up being a programmer of some sort. I think its wrong the way they rush kids into college courses straight from school. Theres only a handful of people who know what they would like to do. Every one has bad weeks, just try to focus on the positives.

you can talk to me if you want, hope things get better soon
Posted Jul 11, 2008 7:54 am PT
*notices size* only going to read that 'cause u've disappeared...
alcoholic friends... mom that tries to care about son, no field trip (i had this problem once... but it was re-dated to the day after. re-dated 5 times and then the year was over >_>), college council saying you arent happy, videogame crashing...
i cant find out if ur life sucks or your college council is right...
but i still hope it gets better
Posted Jul 11, 2008 7:54 am PT
Damn.... I wish I could help you out, man. But at least if you feel like you've reached rock bottom, the only way is up.
Posted Jul 11, 2008 8:28 am PT
Ah thanks guys

Yeah, I'll be ok, if I do chat to any of you then thanks in advance Currently just trying to get stuff done with the college councillor, because after this week, I REALLY need to talk stuff over, I swear its like a god damn spy from TF2 watching me and screwing around lol...
I dunno why I didn't go before, I got reccomended but didn't agree that I needed to see one, I guess I should have gone anyway just so Im not so prone to being annoyed ...

Wow.

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been having the best of times lately. I hope taking a break from here will help some.

Sounds pretty terrible over on your side of things... Hope things get better though... I'm 19 and have no idea in hell what I want to do for a living.... It seems like any class based combat game I'm always the engineer or whoever has the shotgun.... My PC started to act all jacked up last winter... Eventually I got pissed, said Screw it, and did a total system restore. Lost everything, but it completely and totally fixed all my problems. Reinstalled my games, download my pictures, and all was fine.

Sometimes it's just one of those weeks... Overall, I believe that we have only one option in life really: "Above all, try something." Franklin D. Roosevelt.

P.S. Oh, and also remember "a witty saying proves nothing." Voltaire.

Yeah, thanks guys Im feeling a little better now its the weekend which is a nice break! Unfortunately today, my next door neighbour fell over and has to see a doctor because she's old, her back gave way when carrying something for some reason...ah well, things are easening up a little for me now.

At least you don't have sibilings that even when it's your own birthday that they get more of anything (whether material or emotional) than you do. I just got back from a pizza/family center and it was a near horrible experince for my 19th birthday, considering we spent some 5 hours there and I only got some pizza and nothing else. Of course, my brother and sister got stuff and I didn't get anything except scolding. Just count that as your blessing.

As for careers, don't panic, you can't do everything all at once like some people think you can. Just remember that just because you've hit the 21 age benchmark doesn't instantly make you a respectable adult. People weren't perfect in the past and they won't be in the future. Just experiment and see what you like to do. I know that I'm not probably going to be "walking with giants" like some composers do, but who cares? My music is best when it isn't being squeezed out of me and my art looks a lot better when no one is watching me. At least you're in the UK, where there's social benefits and programs as opposed to the self centered citizens of the US, in which the're so scared of charity and higher taxes that they store the wealth in filthy mega corprations ran by souless toilet-brushes called professional businessmen. Man, I'm too much of hippie I guess.
Posted Jul 13, 2008 9:23 pm PT
Dude clutzyaj that sucks ,I realy feel sorry for you.
Posted Jul 15, 2008 1:24 pm PT
I feel your pain on noob problems online, I can't tell you how many snipers I've ran into on just one match alone.
Posted Jul 17, 2008 4:40 am PT
lol hey madman, yeah I wanna just kick them from the match sometimes...
Posted Jul 17, 2008 6:01 am PT
dude that just sucks, about the career my advise is that you take something that you like to do, for example you like videogames a lot you could study software engeneering. As for machins taking our jobs, that really sucks but we still control the machines, and if you need to talk about anything you can call me up
Posted Jul 22, 2008 4:27 pm PT
Hey Thanks , yeah Im feeling a bit better now and yeah, I kinda found recently that I might even be choosing a career too early.
Posted Jul 23, 2008 11:05 am PT
hey bro, it's fine if you take a break from here, just come back. And dude, I've had times where everything seemed to be going wrong (today the permit didn't help), but just keep going. You'll end up with a great career
Posted Jul 23, 2008 3:02 pm PT
Hehe thanks Oblivion guy Yeah, stuff's going ok now that its summer
Posted Jul 24, 2008 3:42 am PT
Aww man that really sucks dude . I've kinda been in the same place, I've had anxiety problems and I still do(but not as much). I hope everything's better .

Btw, how is Bad Company? I was thinking about getting it.
Posted Jul 27, 2008 10:42 am PT
Bad Company is good for multiplayer lol, not the story, but MP is fun, sniper class, demo, support, spec ops, assault etc...all like GTA but without civilians and the cars are all tanks lol
Posted Jul 27, 2008 5:52 pm PT
Lolz good description . Yeah and I also finally got the Mass Effect DLC and beat it. It was great, but I can't believe I let those ****ing batarians go at the end!!
Posted Jul 28, 2008 7:19 pm PT
lol the batarians, yeah I ended up letting them go at the very end but until then I kept shooting the guy until he told me something I wanted to hear lmao
Posted Jul 29, 2008 3:40 am PT
Yeah I shoulda killed them though. They are to ugly to like, lmao. Nice job
Posted Jul 29, 2008 7:32 pm PT
Sounds like a really harsh time, I'm going through some crap at the moment too. Your friends aren't decent friends if they'll only go see you for Vodka, my friends always ask me if there will be alcohol at my house, because they know my mother lets us drink alcohol in my house, so they take advantage of that.

You want to look into contacting Microsoft about your Elite, or checking the troubleshooting section on the Xbox site. Hey, at least you have live .

People always say that everyone should think about their career while they're young, which I think is stupid, I'm 14, 15 come December, and I have no vision of my future.

As for Battlefield: Bad Company, it's probably the server(s) you're playing in, I remember playing Battlefield 2142 and Counter-Strike 1.6 and in a lot of servers, people sucked hard. But it's always fun to kill people numerous times to piss them off, nice going. If you really need cheering up, work up someones anger in that game .

The PC incident sounds rather worrying, you might want to do a few scans for anything mean lurking in your computer.

Hope your birthday goes well, it'll be a nice way to cheer you up from all that stuff going on at the moment, peace.
