Things are wider, but we're not quite done yet. There are lots of things to iron out, and we have a pretty long to-do list. Keep providing feedback, we want GameSpot running smoothly just as much as you do.
While the anti-video game activists get quite a bit of attention in our country, we still have it pretty good. Rational minds typically prevail, as seen by the numerous court rulings against unconstitutional game laws. But when it comes to "game tolerance" (should we call it that?) in other nations, just look at this gem for example:
"When a player copycats a crime he or she sees in the game, the game maker should be prosecuted. Prosecutions will automatically force game makers to act more responsibly"
It's lines like this that the Picard facepalm ascii was meant for.
Check out Popcuts.com. They're a new site founded on the ideas that music is primarily a social medium. When you buy a song, you get rewarded as the song sells better and better, hence trendsetters get recognized for being ahead of the curve. Their library is just getting off the ground, but they've gotten a little attention now just after launch. Plus, the site was founded by a really good friend of mine, which gives you even more incentive to go check it out!
