1. StarOcean: Till The End Of Time (PS2)- 7.9 (Im going to try it again, this one is a different version than the one I had before)

2. Final Fantasy XII (PS2)- 9.0 (I don't know why I ever got rid of this game...)

3. The Bard's Tale (PS2) - 6.7

4. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (Xbox) - 8.5 (Yes, I now have backwards compatibility on my 360)

5. Black & White (PC)- 9.3

Hey guys, once again (and again), I'm sorry for not posting a new blog in a while, I just do not feel like posting blogs at all, but I am still posting reviews for games and such, I just got a review in for Final Fantasy IX, and will have one for Age of Empires II: The Conquerors soon.

I got some good looking games this month aswell (three I already had before but had gotten rid of), I had been interested in The Bard's Tale for a while now and suddenly a local GameStop got two copies of it, so I went ahead and bought one. As for Morrowind, I had it before but I finally ordered a disc from Microsoft that had the Backwards Compatibility update on it, and I tested it and it works! 'Im quite excited to play it, I've heard good things about it. Black & White was a very unique looking RTS, rightly so though, you play as some sort of god, who has raised a giant creature from infancy (the creature can be a lion, ape, or cow), the creature adopts your personality traits by the choices you make in the game (depending on whether you're an evil god or a good god), and you just make it do all the dirty work, just going by it's uniqueness Black & White should get a 10/10, soI can't wait to see how the gameplay works. And get this Black & White was made by Lionhead, the same people that made Fable and Fable II, I just thought that was cool since I had never heard of it and Lionhead is a somewhat big company.

Anywho, I'm going to go try and play Civilization 3 now, so "blog ya' later" (TM.), heheh it's trademarked now, now noone cansteal it!!

After playing Star Ocean: The Last Hope, I'm somewhat curious about the earlier Star Ocean games. Hopefully they have better stories than TLH FF12 was awesome, though! One of my favorite games ever!

I've played 3 of those games.Star Ocean TTEOT is in my top 10 favorite games of all time.I like how Final Fantasy XII doesn't have random enemy battles and the gambit system was an interesting idea.I love the big open world and customisation in Elder Scrolls III

That looks like an awesome list of new games! I hope you have alot of fun with each one of them!

Black and White looks interesting, but I have a bad track record with Lionhead. Both the Fables would have gotten 10s if I was just judging them on potential.

Great games, hope you enjoy them.

Lucky you! all these good games are awaiting for you. You mentioned that you now have compatibility with the Xbox titles. Can you elaborate a little on the subject? I'm interested too in playing some Xbox titles on my X360, though I never bought any, because I was afraid that I would waste my money for nothing. I have read some things on the subject and I got confused...

I restarted So3 last month when away for work, and managed to do 40hrs of it - not too far off the end now! Also, expect Morrowind to drain your life. I spent at least 300hrs with it, and I reckon 100 of those were the expansions. Forgive the fogging, the game is excellent

Till the End of Time is awesome. My favourite Star Ocean, with 2 being close. Final Fantasy XII is also pretty awesome. I have yet to play Morrowind, or even get it (I loved Oblivion).

Of the games you bought I only played Bard's Tale for a while and it wasn't my cup of tea, although some scenes are really hilarious. I have Morrowind GOtY edition for the Xbox, played it for a few hours but never really got into it. But I'm going to give it a second chance.
Have fun with all those games

Have fun with all those games. Don't worry about blogging, many people don't like blogging here.

@Aidan129 - I've heared from many peope that Till the End of Time is best of the StarOcean games so you might want to give it a try.
@AlmightyMax - Black and White is completely different from Fable though, if you're into RTS games you might want to try it out, and just a note: it was their first game so it was before Fable.
@Rheinmetal - Well there's various ways you can get the BC update for your 360, I tried many and they didn't work, so I ended up ordering a disc from Microsoft.xbox.com (I think thats the website), the disc is free you just have to pay a couple of dollars for shipping, and it works too! There is also a list on the site I said earlier of games that are compatible with the update.
@MegandDia128 - I think Bards tale will probably be the next game I play after FFIV, so you can look forward to a review for it.
@Extralife - Well, I only got the regular edition of Morrowind because I'm not sure if the GoTY is compatible with the BC update so.....slash that down to 200 hours!

I just reviewed Star Ocean Till the End of Time today. Great game. Gave it a worthy 9.5. Massive budgets should never deserve a 7.9. Rumors are this single game is why Enix and Squaresoft joined forces due to this box office bomb. Yeah, it was that expensive. Enix wanted to pay off its debt and Squaresoft wanted Dragon Quest. I bought it when it was $50.

Don't worry about not posting for a while. I've been kind of absent for almost a week now. I have a lot of blogs to catch up on. Nice pick ups. I think I may play through FF12 again sometime soon.
