1. Syberia (PC) - 9.1

2. Suikoden 3 (PS2) - 9.1

Yep, that's it, this month I actually refrained from buying too many games, I kept it at a solid 2 games, both of which I'm really excited to play. I've been looking for Suikoden 3 at different places for many months, so I finally just ordered it and I've heard by many that it's a fantastic JRPG. As for Syberia, I haven't played a really good adventure game in a while, and this one looked quite awesome so I figured I'd give it a try, in the words of Michael Scott: "It's gonna be soppity".

I love Suikoden 3.I like how the game lets you see the story from the perspective of 3 different characters, and it's a good way to teach people not to assume things or to be prejudice.I hope you have fun with it

Suikoden doesn't look like it would be my kind of thing, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.

For some stupid reason, Suikoden III never got released in PAL regions. The only Suikoden I've actually played is V, due to the rarity of the others (while the fifth is pretty rare now too). I might get Tierkteris (however you spell it) one day.

I have never heard of either of those games... but I do hope you enjoy them both!

I had started playing Syberia some months ago. I was really pleased from this game. But I quitted it, because of my many other gaming distractions I hope to get back to it some day, because it seems a fantastic game.

It's been a while since I played a really good adventure game too.

If I remember correctly, it had a Final Fantasy X story in complexity and also really good English voice overs, and a decent gameplay element. It's only my second favorite PS2 RPG after FFX. Know what? Suikoden VI is on my wishlist unless it's below 8.0/10!

I played Syberia a few years ago and it's an excellent adventure game I must say.
Never had the chance to play Suikoden III, cause like others who already commented, I live in Europe where it was never released.

well. Suikoden 3 was by far the best Suikoden i've played. and i've played alot of suikoden too. games i would buy. sigh. if only there could be some new RPGS for PS3. my PS2's totalled. disc reading problem. got it when it first came out. and totalled a year ago. so that makes it. 8 years of working life. not bad. considering i played it for over 12 hours a day back then. everyday.

Well, have fun. I haven't played either one.

Dude, to be frank with you my last Adventure game from the non-Monkey Island series was The Longest Journey, because running around in search for items is only fun when you're in turn based battle or action time battle. And you're a S-E fan. Besides maybe Zelda, I recommend stopping Adventure games since The Longest Journey and/or Curse of Monkey Island. To dedicate your life to anything less in the adventure genre is a waste of time. Blame the White House! Despite owning Madden 09, sports are a waste of time. One other thing, can you think of a topic for me to do over IM?

I've never heard of those games lol. I hope they're good.

Oh, I've always wanted to play Suikoden 3! I found it at a gamestop the other day, but it wasn't in the original box, and that deterred me from buying it.

How is it? I might order it one day.

@MareInfinitus - I actually haven't even started playing it yet, but it's supposed to be great, it's the favorite game of many gamers. I can see why you didn't buy it without the box too, I rarely ever buy a game without the box and manual, especially if it's a more rare game like Suikoden 3.

I disliked Suikoden 3 I just couldn't get sucked into the game in any way possible and trust me I tried played it for like 8 hours and the entire time I forced myself through it I might give it another try some day maybe when my backlog isn't to big of other RPG's I've enjoyed more.
