Honestly I didn't care much for Moster Hunter Freedom That was the first game I bought for my PSP. I wanna get both Overlord games Eventually I'm gonna get them shortly.

Overlord 2 looks no different the the first one to me. Monster Hunter Freedom looks good to me I like the one for Ps2.

Overlord 2 looked cool, i thought about picking it up but im not sure if i should yet. Although it sounds great from your impressions of it.

My wife is currently enjoying the heck out of AOE3 now that we have a better graphics card. Haven't played the others, but I'm so backlogged on "must play games." Ugh.

Games like Monster Hunter Freedom and action adventure games like Overloard 2 are too middle-of-the-road for me (below 8.0/10).8.0/10 is minimum for my tastes. I own the best RPGs in the history of human civilization so I only sample the 8.0 ones, and play the very best with what time I do have...not much. I had a ton of time earilier in life and I still remember the RPG I liked. Plenty of RPGs that are anywhere from impessive to excellent to finish IMHO. It's like I am addicted to only to fine wine. You know fine wine drinkers live longer, because their immune system is better able to fight attacks. I might survive gaming culture in 5 yrs doing this. I'm fighting for an evolved stake in this universe.

Those games all sound very nice! I still think about trying Age of Empires from time to time... but have alot of other games to currently work on first!

Age of Empires! I played Age of Empires 1, 2 and 3. Age of Empires 1 was the first strategy game I have ever played before.

@cookie on fire - MHF is Ok I'd give it a 7.0, it's definitely isn't for everyone though.
@Cecil Highwind - I just got the first MHF.
@travisstaggs - Overlord 2 adds quite a bit of variety to the OVerlord formula, it gives your minions the capabilities of riding mounts like wolves, and riding in boats, the Overlord also has the capability of possessing a minion so then you can play as a minion, not to mentions more misstresses. I think it's better than the first and I loved the first a ton. Also Overlord 2 has a much different setting than the first and a much different enemy.
@mprezzy - Yeah I'm LOVING AOE3 aswell, if you want the first 2 along with 2 expansions to them you can buy them all in one package from wal-mart, for $10! Fantastic deal if you ask me.
@BigBangWiscite - Yes but think of all the good games you are missing by just going by game reviews, Overlord and Overlord 2 are both superb games, that anyone should have in their collection, as a rule I try not listen to the GS reviews, especially if I've heard good things from a person with game tastes like mine.
@pakhair - I haven't played Age of Mythology. But if anything Overlord and OVerlord 2 are underrated, and I think that they're very succesful at merging the RPG and RTS genre, not to mention they're hilarious, if you do decide to buy one of them you should probably buy the first Overlord it's only like $18 that way if you don't like them you wouldn't have spent $60 on Overlord 2.

Yes, but videogames don't ever have to be B sci-fi flicks. Everybody wants quality over popularity, at least I do. Resident Evil: Apocalypse and Starship Troopers are really popular (Starship Troopers is #1 book read by US military), but the acting is average. Videogames never follow the same rules. Nobody wants rehashed gameplay content in the democrat's economy we're in. When you want rehashed gameplay, you resort to the enduring stockpile on your shelf.

@BigBangWiscite - Which is why you need to trust your own opinion, reviews are opinions of someone else of what they thought of the game, you will never know how good a game is until you actually play it yourself. Not everyone has the same taste, many games that GS rated low I think should have been rated way higher but they weren't.

If I didn't look at game reviews (@ GS/IGN/Worth Playing) with higher scores (8.0 and above), I wouldn't have a legit opinion on anything. I would be stupid and push around on the topic. You may have awareness of what's good and what's bad, but some people are lost (like me).
