Marge: Well, everybody's got a fear of something.
Homer: Not everybody.
Marge: Sock puppets!
Homer: (screams) Where? WHERE?! (runs off screaming)
SO, WHAT'S yours?
What hypes your goose bumples?
RIP my Mollo and Drea

Oh, DBizTV, come under my wing. I will keep you safe. But I hear you, I do. My biggest fear is that I don't matter. Or that I'll wake up one morning and be Rachel Ray with a broken volume knob.

For some reason, that pic of the socks reminds me of the tv show Breaking Bad. That show knocks my socks off! I once broke my foot, and it grew back wrong (never had it treated). Then I had some bad, ill advised surgery. Ever since, my foot swells up any time I walk or stand around on it. So I don't wear socks, because it stings like crazy.
I guess a fear would be to be stuck in a desert with socks I can't take off! But I can't say what my greatest fear would be. I'm afraid if I labeled it, something else might happen that would be even worse, and give me a perspective I don't want to know!

Hi SparkleFarkle, My fear is of heights and crowds. That's one of the reasons I moved into the country, hated the city. Love wide open spaces and fresh air and no skyscrapers!

Heights. Oh, and slowly descending slowly into complete madness while pretending that everything is okay because I'm afraid to tell anyone the truth.

tuckgraph: Breaking Bad! That's it! I knew that image remind me of something. Sorry to hear your foot gives you whacky. Is it safe to say you suffer from Sasquatchobia?
AprilFox: I'm not a crowd-lover either. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I hate people, so much as I... I... I guess I hate people. LOL!
m00nshadow: My husband, Billy, is afraid of heights, too. I guess he can count himself lucky that he is short. "...and slowly descending slowly into complete madness while pretending that everything is okay because I'm afraid to tell anyone the truth." I second that emotion. I, too, am quietly NUTS. Is there a name for that kind of phobia? Maybe it's best we avoid labels.

Here here! (Or is that "Hear hear!"?) A NUT by any other name would be just as attractive to squirrels.

Upon further review of the comments, you might be right, Sparkle. Or close. I might have Sass-squashobia. The fear of saying what I'm thinking at any given moment!

Hi, Sparkle! I love the quote you chose for your blog, it gave me a good laugh! My fears are death, bugs, and heights! I recently watched the movie King Kong (the one starrring Naomi Watts from 2005) and couldn't sleep for days afterward, because of the giant bugs! Lol :-)

m00nshadow: Ditto and isn't it a wonder more squirrels don't smell like peanut butter?
tuckgraph: Or would that just be a schizoid personality disorder? LOL!
AprilFox: Yep, bugs. Not on my popularity list either. And it's such a fitting word, too, as that is just what they do: "bug."
