Her acting was not always perfect, but neither is her replacement from 4Kids, due to the girlieness of Amy and her personallity, I actually think Jenny fit Amy's personallity much better then Lisa Ortiz did, still her replacement does not piss me off either. But I would like it very much for her to return to the role. Shame all she is known as is the voice of Amy, I think she would have been good with some other roles as well, she may someday.

Before Sonic X, I used to think he was a great man who would always keep the Sonic series on top. But when Sonic X came, things changed. At first that fact that he produced it I thought would be a great thing, I loved SatAM, but a series produced by the head of Sonic Team would be better, but boy was a wrong. Sonic X turned out to be the worst series of Sonic ever, and it became the worst show in the US. The next example was Sonic Riders, which he produced, but the story was terrible, made no sence.

This in probably the most hated guy in the world of anime. I never hated him until the adaption of Sonic X and the replacement of the original voice actors with his own crap quality ones. Following was One Piece and Ojamajo Doremi. I thought Magical DoReMi was a good dub, but then I saw it's original Japanese version, Aiko/Mirabelle's voice was horrid and there was a lot more they left out and changed, it was an insulting dub, it desturbed me even more when someone called it the second best dub next to Pokemon. Personally, I would say one of the Nintendo dubs may be the second best to what became of Ojamajo Doremi. But now to One Piece, I heard of One Piece before it was an anime, on a Shonen Jump video advertisment I saw Luffy and saw a little of One Piece still not knowing too much about it. When I saw previews on FoxBox before it was 4Kids TV, I saw Luffy in anime form and the title One Piece and thought "Oh it's an anime now" and thought I would take a look at it. It looked kind of strange at first yet the storyline sounded interesting. I watched for a while and saw a lot of things that really made the show look stupid, I was starting to think this was not that good of a show, but then I saw the outrage from fans of the original, I was thinking maybe there was more to this then I thought. So I checked Wikipedia and petitions and such as saw a lot that was changed. I then went to read the Manga after getting into Naruto and seeing how faithfully VIZ Media dubbed it which made me happy. When I read the Manga, it was awesome, better then what was on the anime, I saw some stuff I never thought was part show that was really cool. Then I purchaced Uncut Japanese One Piece at Discountanimedvd.com and when I saw it, I saw how much was changed and how a lot of it was really pointless to change as well. That was the day I fell in love with One Piece started shouting humorously "I Want To Be A Pirate Damnit!" and was more against 4Kids then ever then I was with Ojamajo Doremi and Sonic.

I have read a lot of stuff Kahn as said and done since then, even heard some audio clips and I am outraged. This guy is a criminal (in my view anyway) what this guy allows, what he does, it's insulting. If You REALLY care about anime and Sonic, avoid the dubbed versions of the animes dubbed by 4Kids and the English versions of the Sonic games, import them and a PS3 from Japan. And don't buy One Piece Grand Battle in English either or any other anime based game that has to do with 4Kids.

I have noticed most of the reviews here are for the voice of Anzu Mazaki/Téa Gardner, from what I have heard of the Japanese version, I do think the voice is good for her so I give this actress credit for that.

Her voice of Max on Pokémon, while I have never heard his Japanese voice so I can not tell the difference, as I have no hatred on Nintendo 4Kids dubs, I am neutral on this one but I think it was a nice voice for him.

Now I get to the Sonic X anime which I hate the dubbed version of to be honest. In the original Sonic series on Sonic Heroes, Charmy was voiced by Emily Corkery who fit Charmy's personallity perfectly. She gave Charmy the voice you would expect from a 6 year old boy in real life and fitted his hyperactive, scatterbrained and childish personallity perfectly like his Japanese voice actress did. While Amy Birnbaum does not fit Charmy at all. The voice she gave Charmy makes his sound much older then he is (makes him sound about 14 IMO) and she also does not fit his personallity well. Instead of making Charmy hyper and energetic as he is supposed to be, she made him sound sarcastic and slightly mellow. It bothers me that some people like the voice for that, but it's not SUPPOSED to be like that, it's out of character for Charmy. It's in Charmy's bio and the Team Chaotix theme song for him to be hyper and scatterbrained.

And now Cosmo, while she gave her a nice voice, she lack a LOT of the emotion that Cosmo's japanese voice actress Etsuko Kozakura gave to her. She sounded less caring then she did in the Japanese version and less conserned in certain areas. While the sound of her voice was good for Cosmo, her attitude and personallity were not.

This was the first voice I knew Sonic the Hedgehog by when DIC chose him to voice Sonic in the series they were producing based of Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog games. In some ways these days I am really sick of how older fans obsess over this voice rather then giving the new one a try. When I heard Ryan Drummond, he sounded like a Teenage, less nasally and more energetic version of Jaleel White and I fell in love with that voice for Sonic. However then came the worst Sonic voice of all. Jason Griffith was used for a 4Kids dub of Sonic\'s new anime titled Sonic X. He sounds dorky for both Ryan and Jaleel and nothing perfect like either of them. Ryan is the best but Jaleel is 2nd best and he would have been a better replacement for Sonic over Jason Griffith, face it, Griffith is a bad voice actor. I've lost respect for Yuji Naka over this decision. Ryan 1st then Jaleel 2nd will ALWAYS be Sonic in my mind, Jason can NEVER replace them.

Other then Sonic, his performance of Steve Urkel was very funny and such, he was always a character I enjoyed, I also enjoyed his cameo in the movie "Big Fat Lier". This guy is good and comes off as one of my most well known actors.

A first I was not to fond of William Corkery's voice for Tails, but then as I listened, I realised it was MUCH closer to his DIC voices and definatly added in more emotion and better acting then Corey Bringa did. So try to accept this voice in the newer games from before 4Kids ruined the Sonic franchise with hatred and such.

So far, since Rebecca Honig replaced Sarah Wulfeck as Cream the Rabbit in the games due to the 4Kids move, I have been outraged. I hate Rebecca's screechy voice she gave my favorite Sonic character (yeah you heard me, Cream is my favorite Sonic character). But at least this voice actress is still around. And while she does not speak English, in the Japanese games and the Japanese version of Sonic X, she has made Cream sound so cute and young, like the little playful child that Cream is ^^. However, she is acting as WAY too many of the same characters from the same franchise, Sonic the Hedgehog. Since 4Kids has been taking over, she has voiced Tikal, Maria, Wave, Blaze and soon to be Elise and is giving them ALL the same voice. They have nothing uniqe about them anymore. Sega really did jump the shark when they hired 4Kids. And anyone who likes 4Kids hates anime in my opinion (Sorry but they REALLY do ruin each show except for Pokemon). When I found out 4Kids was still dubbing the games and that Bella Hudson was going to take over ANOTHER female character Princess Elise, I was deeply upset. Why can't Veronica Taylor take the role for once, she has a good voice for those roles as well and it would add more difference into the games if 4Kids IS going to still be dubbing them.

Until she stops being used so much and stops giving all the female Sonic characters the same voice, I have nothing nice to say about her.

But this one I like, she has given first to Ash Ketchem an awesome voice and one that lasted for 8 years. She also gave a wonderful voice to April O' Neal on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and I have become really fond of it. So for those of you who hate 4Kids and their actors, I am on your side as I am against most of them too. But leave this one out of the hated bunch, she is a really good actress who should have done more of the roles that other actors at 4Kids ruined the characters with.

I loved Vector's voice in "Sonic Heroes" he sounded tough and cool. But now thanks to the worst dubbing company ever, he now sounds like Pee-Wee Herman, This was the BIGGEST change from cool to uncool of ALL the Sonic characters probably. This voice was the biggest thing that ruined the game "Shadow the Hedgehog" for me, What Was Sega THINKING? This is one of the most noticeable changes of them all and definatly one of the most annoying of them all as well, it's obvious Sega is tone deaf as well and anyone who probably like this voice better (I'm sorry but this one is SO noticable and dorky that that's how I feel). Well if I and the fans have anything to say about it, Bill Corkery will return and voice Vector once again.

I would have given him a 1.0 but I gave him one extra .1 because at least his voice doesn't make my ears bleed like Rebecca Honig's Cream voice does, and I am going to get Sarah Wulfeck back for her as well.

There are few animes I like from 4Kids that are dubbed by them, and on many of the the voices sound bad and out of character, however on Yu-Gi-Oh! to me it's the only show where I think some of the voices were improved from the Japanese version....

There are few animes I like from 4Kids that are dubbed by them, and on many of the the voices sound bad and out of character, however on Yu-Gi-Oh! to me it's the only show where I think some of the voices were improved from the Japanese version. While I still find the edits annoying and over done, I do like the voice this person gives both Yugi Muto and Yami Yugi, so I definatly give him great credit for that.

For Knuckles however, he ruined him, he sounds WAY to simular to Yami and killed the uniqeness of Knuckles' voice (well Sonic X is the anime I HATE most of the dub version) His old voices from the games sounded closer to his Japanese voice and much cooler.

While this voice actor is good, I give him a 7.1 out of 10.0

I loved Jessica Boone's role as Chiyo on Azumanga Daioh, she gave a perfect English voice for her, there is no one better I could think of. And in my ears after comparison of the original Japanese voice, she would have been an awesome voice...

This person is the orignal Sonic the Hedgehog from the games of today and was unfairly dropped due to Sega's stupid continueity reasons when they hired 4Kids' untalented voice actors (except for Mike Pollock, he's great). This guy was devoted to doing Sonic, especially when Sonic X was coming to the US, He WANTED to do the voice of Sonic on Sonic X yet that horrible dubbing company rejected him just because he did not live in New York, and Ryan even offered to move there so he could do Sonic's voice for the fans, and yet 4Kids who doesn't seem to really care to much about the fans at all hired Jason Griffith over him. Jason Griffith is the worst male voice actor I have heard from the company, he just doesn't sound as cool as Ryan does and if the fans have anything to say about it, Ryan will return once again.

Originally I hated this actor. He fluctuated his voiced (mainly for Sonic and Ussop) and most of the voices he provides don't fit the characters at all. Originally I had a problem with him when I messaged in the past but as certain events passed and a few people I talked to who know him, he's shown to me he's not a bad guy after all. Maybe he was having a rough time or has recently gotten better, but I find him okay now.

Of his voice acting stuff which is what I am reviewing on him, he's not that good of a voice for Sonic. Actually in the beginning he was downright terrible (in the games anyway, he was okay in episode 1 of Sonic X). But he's improved his emotional skills in acting as shown in Sonic Unleashed but the voice still doesn't fit well so I recommend another actor for the character. I do however think he fits Shadow very well and if he emoted more, he could be perfect or at least great or good.

His voice of Ussop however was downright awful. It made the character sound like some wimpy (or something else) and unserious character. Jason originally had trouble with his Sonic voice in the sense that he fluctuated the tone but as Ussop it was WAY worse, terrifyingly worse actually. When the auditions were going on and that Jason proved he can act, I don't know who to blame most, Jason himself or the directors who casted and directed him.

Other characters he has voiced in the past and recently however he's actually pretty good as. He's great as the voice of Miyamoto Usagi on Ninja Turtles and a few others I don't quite remember. But I think voice overs are not best area, I've seen him do MUCH better in live action.

So as a live action actors he's pretty good, but as a voice over actor he's mostly so so on that but he still has his moments.

Tails however, she does do a bad job on him, sadly now that she voices him, Tails has lost the childish charm in his voice that made him known as the kid he is. So I would prefer William Corkery (Voice of Tails in Sonic Heroes and all games before 4Kids take over) over her for Tails but I would especially prefer Corey Bringas (Tails' original game voice).

I think this voice actress has talent, and does some characters nicely but is not appropriate for the roles of some of the characters she currently does.
